Kamen Rider Drive - News/Rumours Thread 1

Seeing that Mashin Chaser has a bike, while Drive doesn't makes think that Drive is gonna get a bike (whether for his final form or something else) and Mashin Chaser playing a part in it, which most likely be his death at the hands of the big bad of the series or Drive activating his final form to defeat him once and for all.

That sounds pretty badass, I'm getting even more hyped for Drive now! :laugh::laugh::laugh:

You know, from the toy catolog, Mashin Chaser seems to also use equipment almost the same way Drive does but isn't named a Kamen Rider, does that mean he will be something like Shadow Moon who wasn't given a Kamen Rider title as well then?

For some reason those shots of Mashin Chaser remind me of 90s Hakaider. That may or may not be related to my having rewatched that film a couple of weeks ago :sweat:

Just give us some freaking full on suit shots!!! What is Toei afraid of? I'm starting to think they don't have faith in this new series.

I think they have more than enough faith in this show to where they want to build this kind of suspense. To where we might see what Drive looks like when it starts.

Well it's more than likely that Drive's press conference/official reveal will happen at the end of the month as a good number of magazines and news sources are going to be reporting on the show during that time. As TaintedSeraph pointed out

Maybe people judging the suits based on a few blurry images and leaked catalogue scans. It doesn't surprise me that they want to wait and give us a proper reveal and I don't think hiding it means they're afraid of anything. Especially after the extremely negative initial reaction to Gaim.

^Very very good point. Aswell as building suspense for the new show, I'm assuming they have big plans aswell for this series.

Don't mistake the lack of information for something big happening. I said this around the time of Fourze, Toei has just gotten better at withholding information and avoiding leaks.
Had they been able to do it long before that, they would have.

This is just the treatment anyone wants out of the tv series/movie/etc. they are going to release, it's nothing out of the ordinary.
Were it possible, they would all do it as it was in the days before the Internet: People would only know 90% of what's going on until they see the actual release of whatever is coming out, in this case the first episode of Drive.

Wouldn't surprise me if we have to wait till the tv promos in September to see the reveal of Drive. They came this far why not wait till the very last minute and keep up the suspense.
