I didn't really pay attention to the music, tone I can agree with, but the concept is 5-minute, weak at best pencil fodder and there wasn't any real action aside from a horribly wired butterfly kick. It's just almost as annoying for people to blow their praises of Steve Wang way out of proportion as it is for people to be pessimistic before they even see the product. I can see why some people would be excited about an adaptation, I personally am not (I've seen Ryuuki and I can freely enjoy Kamen Rider whenever I want; why would I need to watch a badly butchered purposeless remake?), but what I don't see is how we get a really terrible 2 minute trailer and people start creaming their jeans. I mean, why? Was it the Academy Award-winning line delivery? The mind-blowing 3 second fight clip? The excitement of seeing some old white guy in the reflection of a big building? Or maybe it was that it was the camera doing that cool circle thingy! C'mon people... seriously.
