Alright. I finished it just recently and boy! This episode rocks and once more, the Wangs and their allies done it again. This is another 100% American footage episode. This is it! The dawn of the US Toku revolution comes!

It's a VERY AWESOME episode! I like the way where the three have a training session. It's like they're preparing for battle; Kit's still a rookie, though.

And Strike is INDEED BADASS! And it's all American footage, ladies and gentlemen.

Can't wait for Axe and Spear in action.

I had I strange feeling that those two would've been asian after seeing their henshin poses in Ryuki. I feel for Chris since I have asthma too. It sucks :nono:

I just remember about Steve Wang's interview about that:

[HIDE]Also posing while transforming. It’s cool if you’re Asian, but here, it’s silly to me still. We don’t pose in KAMEN RIDER DRAGON KNIGHT because we don’t want the new generation of audience that we are trying to capture to feel alienated by this type of behavior. Personally, I love all the posing, just look at our crew photos. I’m posing like Ichigo in all the pictures! [laughs] I appreciate it for what it is but I also recognize its downfalls in the American cultural mindset. The kids we are trying to appeal to do not watch POWER RANGERS and have no idea what a Kamen Rider is. They are not fanboys…YET! [laughs][/HIDE]

It's funny how you bring that up since I found the poses in Ryuki to be the most needless since they're just sliding decks ino slots.

So I actually caught this one. For once it wasn't bad; 3/5

The Good:

- Improved production quality from earlier episodes; better shot American footage. The first few episodes felt like a fanfilm.

- Xaviax, (and to a lesser extent JTC) can actually act and have entertaining charisma; something the show was majorly lacking with it's overly robotic acting

- Cho brothers seem promising; at least from a martial arts standpoint.

The Bad:

- The vast majority of the main cast and characters (all of the good guys) still deliver incredibly bland or uninteresting performances; emphasis on Maya, Len and Asthma boy.

- A lot of the dialogue supposed to be taken seriously was incredibly cheesy; but I'll let that slide given it's a kids show.

I watched this back to back with this week's RPM and even though PR had a standard filler episode; it was infinitely more entertaining and way less boring and bland than "The Power of Three."

Nevertheless, KRDK is improving. Hopefully it continues to.
