Kamen Rider Dragon Knight - Post Mortem Interview

[Mr. Yellow]

Xaviax had control of the other decks. If you were him would your really give the riders you've tricked into working for you a card that might make them a threat to yourself?

Well no, but clearly the Advent decks themselves were a threat to him, maybe not much but still they had the ability to turn on him. He should have installed the decks with a kill switch so if they decided to turn he could shut their power off.

[Exo_Kopaka]

I'm not sure if it was asked, but:

Now that KRDK is considered a market failure, what exactly caused this, and what could have been changed so that it didn't have to die?

[ForeverRed]

I want to know...

1. How come Kamen Rider Dragon Knight toys never release to Walmart and Target? Why ONLY Toys 'R' Us?

2. How well they sell the toys? Is it good or bad?

3. Will they be able to make another US Kamen Rider series?

[Mr. Yellow]

I want to know...

Ah, so they were ONLY at Toys R Us? Explains why I've never seen one around here. Haven't been to a Toys R Us in a while.

[Mr. Underachiever]

They had Dragon Knight toys at Wal-Mart. In fact, they probably had more of them than Toys R Us did.

[ForeverRed]

That's strange. There were no Dragon Knight toys in my local Wal-mart. (Two Wal-mart). None at all.

[Mr. Yellow]

The toys are horrible anyways, but it would still be nice to actually see them in person. Little chance of that now.

my walmart had none

the only store that had DK toys were toys r us. and...besides the 3 inch toys. the 6 inch toys sucked

and there were almost none

Followed by Nathan Long revealing the Dragon Knight movie...revealing Eubulon actually created 2 more Advent Decks that were lost on Earth and that Toei sent the Abyss Suit after Decade completed, as well as Steve Wang creating Kamen Rider Blue based on the production sketches.

The name 'Blue' for Raia's friend is a mistake that gets passed around in the western fandom because of that artwork that has part of his name covered up by his leg. It's actually Blade.

That would have been cool.
