I've heard about this. I'm not surprised if this is true.
From what I've seen the pilot, the casts are pretty good.

I think the foreign CNs that are airing Justi and the other Cho Sei Shin are doing so dubbed in English and other languages.
There is already a Gransazer adaptation in the works though called Zodiac/Zodiak Guardians. I wouldn't doubt that the people who have the rights to that also have the other Cho Sei Shin.

Seriously, if they did go through with a Gransazer adaptation, that would be awesome, if they don't kill it!
