Kamen Rider Double Rumor/Picture Thread

Agito, Faiz and Kiva all have the same writer. Yet Faiz and Kiva are a step down from Agito.

Ryuki and Den-O both have the same writer. Yet Den-O is a step down from Ryuki.

Kabuto was full of veteran writers, yet none of them could write a coherent story around all the merchandise-driven stuff in that show.

Maybe Sanjo is competent enough to continue writing a quality script despite more obligatory merchandise-plugging. I doubt all of this was his idea. But given the past, there is good reason to have doubts.

Have you seen or read anything he has written before?

While that may be the case a lot of the time with Toei, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Unless the new Rider premieres and it's horrible. But seeing as how Double has been doing better than my anticipations rather than the opposite, I'm optimistic.

Same. Double hasn't let me down so. Im hoping that this second rider has sonazaki relations. It would be awesome if say he was a hitman, that kirihiko or saeko hired to get rider of double. But he's a hitman with honor so he won't be a douce as seems cosstumary for second rider these days. He'll have nothing personal against double, it just be business. That would be awesome.

Well Accel could be at odds with W, but will still work with them. Still yet adding a new character will make the show interesting.

I don't think there's anything wrong with him, it's just that I don't want another secondary Rider in a row that's like him. In fact, it would be awesome if he's going to be a genius physicist like the rumours said.

Good writers can have bad ideas... or good ideas they execute poorly due to time constraints, stress, etc. I don't regard Inoue as a bad writer, in fact I find his career amazing in many respects, but he's still done some very poor work in the Rider franchise.

In the case of W, a lot of what makes it good to me is, specifically, that they're focusing on a small and consistent cast. Adding any new recurring character to that will absolutely change that chemistry and dynamic. Changes can be good or bad, but W is so good already that it's hard to imagine the show improving.

Same thing that i think most of the people who have qualms with decade feel about the rest of the cast. Everyone was just flat, there was no overall characterization. Even though i thought decade was okay for what it was, I have to agree. All the characters had alot of potentail, but the writers never went anywhere with it. Or in Diend's case they did for like four eps, and then went back.
