It is the year 2257, the world is one of advanced technology and is constantly researching ways to continue it's advancement. The world itself has become interconnected by an advanced form of the internet which can be used not only for how it was used generations ago, but also to transport objects through the interenet thanks to devices called Realizers and Digitizers, eliminating the need for things like mail and postal services. The world continues going forward striving for perfection. But there are those that oppose this way, they believe that advancement will lead to our own destruction and have developed viruses that attack the net and thus slowing down humanity's advancement. This wasnt enough though, they want it stopped completely, the "Hackerz" as they call themselves found a way to send the viruses through the Realizers so they can attack the real world. Conventional weapon have proven to be useless against these viruses, knowing this INet, a interenet technology company has decided to fight fire with fire, or in this case fight data with data. Using the digitizer and realizer technology they have developed several sets of gear and data modeled after the legendary tokusatsu hero, Kamen Rider in order to give a team of specially selected people to fight these viruses, things did not go as planned though, in a virus attack on the INet facility where the rider suits were being developed the rider gears were nearly lost, and one was even stolen, but in an effort to safeguard their creation one INet scientist quickly e-mailed the the data for the remaining four rider programs to four random people in hopes that they would use the realizer technology to give the rider data a physical form an hopefully ue it.

Now the four riders, Data, Cyber, Driver and Net are our last hope of preserving the society that man has worked so hard to build. And what of the fifth set which was stolen? What do the Hackerz have in store for it? And will it ever be seen again? Only time will tell.

Rules:
1. no godmoding our powerplaying without permission(with villains it can be allowed if I give you permission)

2. if you wont be able to post for a while have someone(other than me) cover for you

3. no idiots

4. Relationships are allowed but dont make the whole rp about it. Also if you play multiple characters they cannot be in a romantic relationship, and no instant romances, let it happen naturally, its much more interesting that way.

5. pay attention to posts

6. Try not to leave people behind and dont rush the plot

8. If I ask you to improve the quality of your posts you must improve the quality of yours posts and you will not argue with me when I say that. In the long run you will be better off.

9. Bios are required to join (post them here and not that bogus thread made by Mesogog)

10. If you have a problem with someone else take it over the PMs or something, just dont argue here

11. The good guys dont necessarily have to get along in the beginning but they have to learn to get along at some point so dont make your character a complete pain in the ass

12. Newbies, put in 200%. Veterans help out the newbies, that way the rpg will be more enjoyable for everyone

13. Dont join if your not on often we need active roleplayers

INet Belt: the henshin belt designed by INet which uses a compact digitizer and realizer in order to travel between the internet and the real world

Rider Disks: small disks that are inserted into the buckle of the INet belts in order to activate the realizer and make the suit materialize

Uploader: the right glove worn in rider form that allow them to materialize whatever weapon data is on their rider disk

Downloader: The left glove that can interface with various devices and download information of varying types for various purposes

Vaccines: specialized weapon data meant for deleting viruses

Extractors: specialized weapon data meant for taking viruses out of something

Scanners: The eyepieces of the suit which posses x-ray and infared vision and scanners which detect enemy weaknesses

Slider Cycles:The motorcycles used by the riders, can be used in conjunction with the digitizer/realizer system

Bio: A lazy, video game obsessed slacker who is bored with the real world and almost constantly buries himself in some sort of game and tends to let life pass him by. Though he has other reasons for seemingly avoiding life, reasons that he keeps concealed from everyone, even his closest friends. For the most part people dont know him to well since he continuously buries himself in his gaming activities, even his friends normally only see him online. Like the other riders he recieved a mysterious email one morning, and opened the file included with it, thinking that it was a game he used his household realizer to bring the file into the physical world. He later found out that the Rider System was much more than a game later that day at school when a virus attack occured. In the beginning he wasnt expecting it to work, thinking it was nothing more than a toy or game, but in a last ditch effort to try and defend his friends he put on the belt and activated it, and much to his suprise it work. Thanks to a tutorial program installed into the belt he was able to get the hang of his newfound powers and abilities and successfully delete the virus.

After obtaining the belt he tends to be offline more often, assuming that other rider systems exist out there and searching for those who may have obtained them in order to form an alliance with them so they can fight more efficiently.

Bio: Merrick is an intelligent coder who spends most of his time writing out codes on paper, thinking in his head how each line will produce a certain outcome. He is naturally gifted, and is extremely humble about his skills. He works with another coder, whom he only knows online named simply "Memoir28". Memoir28 and Merrick occasionally swap codes, editing and fixing each other's. One day, he received an e-mail that he assumed to be from Memoir. Thinking that it was a book on coding tutorials that he was promised, he used the realizer in his home to materialize it, being surprised as he ended up getting a mysterious belt called the Rider System. He donned it, thinking it had no real use. The next day, he went out on a walk to the book store to pick up the coding book he was supposed to receive, when he was suddenly attacked by viruses. The tutorial in the belt activated, and assisted him in deleting it as he transformed into Kamen Rider Driver. He now walks the streets, waiting for a virus to attack so he may defeat it.

Bio:Himara is a great inventor that builds alot of cybernetic technology.He has an unatural ability to memorize entire schematics in a blink of the eye.One day while he was on the computer he recieved an email.Thinking it's some new schematics that his grandpa had promised to give him he uses his realizer at home to materialize it.He is shocked to see the Rider system belt.Thinking it was some kind of gadjet to help him with his inventions he dons it on.Later that day a virus attacked a burger joint that he was at.The tutorial program guided him into becoming Kamen Rider Net and defeating the virus.He nows spends his free time finding more about the Rider System.

Sanada Soujiro is just your average, ordinary guy who is fully aware of what's happening around town. But, he knows he can't do anything about it. He tends to forget about the recent events and goes on to his primary goal: finish school, and have a job. But everything was going to change, when he went out to throw garbage, he found a man seriously wounded and holding a strange parcel. He rushed to the man hoping to help him, but it was far too late, the man was dead. He took the parcel in his room, opened it and found out it was a Rider System (it says on the label). He took the belt to the school, afraid that the one who attacked the wounded man might came looking for him next. On his way to school, a virus blocked his way and charged to attack him. Without further ado, he took out the belt and a tutorial program activated itself and guided him. Then he transformed into Kamen Rider Cyber and destroyed the virus.

After all that, he realized that he has the power, and now can do something. To protect and to fight...

Name: Adisa Yabutu

Origin: Nigerian

Gender: Male

Alignment: Rogue rider. Despises INet and all technology companies. Sympathises with the Hackerz, but disagrees with their murderous tactics of using viruses against innocent people. Cautious of the other Riders and their motives, but offers assistance when it suits him.

Rider Identity:Kamen Rider Feedback (the others were all taken!)

Fighting Style: Uses the viruses against themselves, manipulating their code using counter-viruses. His obsession with destroying technology to preserve life, leads him toward not engaging in direct combat to avoid collateral damage.

Weapons: Feedback Photon Pulse (Ranged weapon that stuns temporarily, non-lethal), Feedback EMP (Neutralises the virus until it can be reactivated by another virus, non-lethal), Feedback Retrovirus (A different form of vaccine that causes enemy viruses to attack themselves, wears off after a few minutes once the virus builds a resistance, only usable once against a certain strain of virus, lethal but not fatal. It allows the riders to finish off the viruses), Feedback Decrypter (A portable digitizer that requires several minutes of calculations after being used, to allow Feedback weapons to be more effective. It analyses the code of the virus and determines the best way to attack it. Non-lethal) Uses extractors in conjuction with Feedback Decryptor, to design new Retroviruses. Adisa enjoys testing the power of his latest Retrovirus, so he occasionally gets in contact with the other riders to determine the location of any viruses.

Appearance: 6'5" athletic African male. Adisa has many tatooes on his body, the most predominant ones being on his shoulders and arms, which resemble the ancient Nigerian tribal tattoes, but are made of a strange electrically charged compound that glows when he is near a virus. Adisa has long black dreadlocks, with the hair at the crown of his head cut short and slicked back to look like crow's feathers. He wears a long, shiny-black leather trenchcoat, black sunglasses that contain retinal projectors to allow him access to the net at all times, a pair of black jeans, and a chain mail shirt with many african tribal trinkets woven into it's links.

Backstory: Adisa grew up in Nigeria and fled to Japan after the African Technological Uprising of 2248. He was an influential freedom fighter for the anti-technological African Alliance of Humanists, having engaged in many sabotage missions on the fast-forming technological dictatorship imposed upon Africa by the UN and funded by INet. Adisa saw his country's history and pride flushed down the toilet as foreign empires eradicated Nigeria's industries, in favour of automation and computerisation.
On his last mission in Nigeria (before he fled to Tokyo), Adisa came across a realizer that had been in storage for quite some time, and appeared to be a prototype. Out of curiosity, one of his men had turned it on and connected it to the Web, but having little to no experience in securing such a device, the men were killed by a virus that came through the realizer. That wasn't the only thing to have come through the device, however. A strange green and black belt had also been made by the machine, and although the viruses in the location had moved on to attack the staff of the facility and were not in proximity to Adisa, his tattoes still burned like a fire he had never encountered before.
A pair of black sunglasses were sitting next to the belt, and Adisa put them on. Instantly, his mind was overloaded with imagery of war, destruction, oppression, fear, and hatred. Out of the chaos he was able to see a message. "The Hackerz are not who they seem to be", read the message. Adisa thought nothing of it, and took the belt without even noticing that he had done so, as though it were a natural instinct, as though he needed the belt. It would not be until several years later that Adisa would come in contact with the virus again, and having worn the belt the whole time since he found it, activated it and used it to destroy the virus, as though it were second nature to him. At the last instant, before the virus was eradicated, it transmitted a signal to his sunglasses, which gave him the rest of the message "The Hackers are not who they seem to be. They are what was before, and what is to come. This is their world now... the world of the electron and the switch, the beauty of the baud. War, poverty, hunger, these things do not concern them, for they transcend the need for emotions and politics. Man is a flawed species, doomed to destroy itself. The flesh is obsolete.

It is time for an upgrade"
