Kamen Rider Blade: Royal Flush (RPG thread)

Tengo seemed to smirk at that question as if he expected it. "It's not that I'm an ace. I'm just not stupid. This is not my first Battle Fight. I've been around humans enough to adapt to some of their mannerisms so as to blend in. The others are a little slow to catch on." Tengo then turned his head to Ami. "And no, I'm not going to change into Chalice if you move. And yes, I can read minds. And I'm not "macking" you, whatever that means."

Great! He can read minds. That's just perfect! Still trying to keep calm, Leiko gave her final question. "Last question. I read in my dad's reports that the Human Undead was the one who won the first Battle Fight, and that's the reason humans now inhabit the earth. Answer me this. How did that puny thing manage to win?! His abilities were all labeled sub-par by those reports!" Ami gave Leiko a curious look. Why does that question matter? We're here now, what's knowing about the past going to do?

"Untrue, Ami. To forget the past is the greatest mistake one can make. As to answer your question, the 2 of Hearts had something not many creatures had, but humans have an abundance of... resiliance. Not once did he ever give up in a fight. But..." Tengo reached into his pocket, pulling out the Spirit card. "... that can only get one so far. Now that the questioning is over, and seeing as how that bird ruined your breakfast, why don't we go out and get something. My treat."

Leiko got a disgusted look on her face. "You...treat me? No way! Come on, Ami! Let's get out of here!" Ami's stomach growled, much to her friends dismay. "But...I'm hungry..." Leiko's eye twitched. "So, we can go somewhere else!" Ami then lowered her head. "N-No...we can't...I forgot my wallet at the house...I realized when I was hiding with the server." Murderous intent filled Leiko's eyes. "You...WHAT?!" Ami started apologizing several times. "I'm so sorry, Leiko-chan. Please, forgive me!" Idiot! I'll just have to pay for it my- Leiko then noticed that she had left her wallet back at the mansion as well. Slowly turning to Tengo, Leiko's stomach also began to growl as the toast she had earlier wasn't exactly filling. "I...I guess I'm going to have to take you up on that offer." She said this, gnashing her teeth. "Ami, you drive..." A glint showed up in Leiko's eye, one of murderous rage. Ami gulped and headed to the car, quickly getting in to start it. "We're going to have to follow you, Tengo. Ami's car only fits two people. Let's get this over with." With that she got in the car, fuming and waiting for Tengo to lead the way.

Tengo chuckled, slipping his helmet onto his head. "I thought you'd see things my way." Tengo then reved his engine, screeching down the road at a pace that allowed the other to follow. That Undead would attract the attention of the other Riders. They'll come here and investigate. They'll find my trail and follow me. This little side trip will buy me some time.

As Ami drove to follow Tengo, Leiko was muttering to herself again. "What is this guy doing?! He's been dropping all this info on me and now he's taking me out to breakfast! He's confusing the hell out of me!" She held her head in frustration as Ami meekly chimed in her own opinion. "L-Leiko-chan, maybe this Tengo person just wants to help you..." Leiko gave her friend a cold stare. "Why do you always forget that he isn't human?! He's planning something, Ami! I just don't know what!" Ami kept her eyes on Tengo as she followed him and let out another opinion. "I just thought that he could be different from the others that you've described for me..." Leiko turned and began looking out the window when she heard this. "No, Ami. All of them are the same. No matter the outside appearance, they are nothing more than monsters...every last one of them." Ami felt the bitterness in her friend's voice and kept quiet for the rest of the trip, realizing that she was just reminding Leiko of what happened to her parents. Watching the passing scenery, Leiko didn't even want to look at Tengo at this point. "I don't want to get to know you or forgive you...I want to hate you until my dying breath, you damned monster!" Leiko whispered this to herself bitterly, still holding hostility towards him.

Tengo had led the two girls about seven blocks before he slowed to a stop in front of a small diner, dismounting his bike and placing his helmet on the handlebar. Turning toward Leiko's car as it entered, Tengo motioned for them to follow him, entering the diner as a waitress approached him. "Good morning. How many in your party?"

"Just us three." The waitress led them to their booth near the cornor of the diner, leaving to grab their menus. Tengo turned to his guests. "So... what would you like to talk about?"

Leiko just crossed her arms and didn't speak, her glare fixed upon Tengo to see if he would try anything in a populated area. Ami, meanwhile, was more gracious and began to speak to him. "I want to thank you, sir, for doing this. Please forgive my friend, but she's lost a lot because of-" Leiko's head turned to Ami and the young woman stopped what she was saying. "Ami, stop. I don't want his pity. The concept is probably lost to an Undead anyway." Turning her attention back to Tengo, Leiko decided to release what she had bottled up on the trip here. "Why are you helping me? Are you trying to build me up into the perfect opponent for you? If you are, I'm no one's plaything, just so you know." Leiko said this with relative calm in her voice, not wanting to cause a scene here.

"your stuff huh?" Setsuna gave out an unamused look which then led to a disgusted one. " I'm not even going to ask" She shruged and pointed to her car.
"Get in you two, we're going to go and pick up your stuff, Setsuna said sitting in the driver's seat taking off her heels and putting on her driving shoes. "I suggests you put on your seatbelts, I drive CrazY" She said with a smirk and then started the car. Revving it a couple of time to pace the two riders.

Tengo's calm demenear was was replaced with that of... annoyment. "That's the thing: You ARE a plaything. Your anger and hatred is controlling your life, slowly consuming you. You keep this up and you'll drive away everything that you hold dear. You don't really care about the Battle Fight, the Undead, or the Rider gear. You only want revenge for what one Undead did to you. Here's some advice: Get over it. Your father saw many people killed by Undead in his line of work, even friends he had known, but he never let anger destroy him." The waitress came with their menus, giving them each one while discussing the daily specials. She left and Tengo continued. "I respected your father, considered him a friend. We made a promise one day before I was sealed. I told him that if anyone were to seal me... I wanted him to do it. He agreed on one condition: That if Battle fight should resume and he is dead... that I should protect his daughter." Tengo lifted the menu to his face and scanned it. "Hmmm... the chicken sounds good."
