I finally got around to seeing this movie today, and WOW! This was simply the best Toku I've ever seen. I simply love the scenery in this show. They film it so well. The story was great. I enjoyed seeing how everyone had changed in four years, except for Kenzaki who seemed to stay the same.
I was actually a little worried that the main focus would be these new Riders. Although the costumes were sleek, I wasn't ready to see a movie about all new characters. I liked Kenzaki and Katarou's reaction to the new Kamen Riders, and how they were ready to fight against the Undead again. There was great tension between the Riders, and the all the characters really came together after having changed.
I'm glad that I waited until I was done with the series before I saw the movie, because while you could tell there were some subtle changes by the time Blade actually ended like Kenzaki becoming the other Joker and Hajime deciding to live a life as a human, it came together like it was four years after the end of the series.
This movie reminded me why I loved the characters in the show so much, and while I've always felt that it and Faiz were both contendors for the best, Missing Ace trumped Paradise Lost on all levels and has overall made Kamen Rider Blade my favorite Toku series. I definitely recommend the movie.
Now if Hibiki could only be this good.
