I'm not sure that Takahashi being the producer means he'd bring back Foundation X. It was Tsukada's creation, and it hasn't appeared in like four years ...

I suppose that does make sense. I seem to recall reading that Tsukada "graduated" to J-drama production after Fourze finished.

Still, a man can dream. I loved that W and Fourze tried to attempt some sort of continuity by introducing this new organization, and it'd tickle me pink if Takahashi brought back that same sense of an overarching storyline from one season to another. Until then, I shall continue to speculate hopelessly.

Can anyone make out what the belt's motif is? Also, for a collectible, 15 seems like a very small number... I really like that each one is a unique form as opposed to a silly weapon or ability ala Switches, Rings and Shift Cars.

This would be a really good time to end it. It would also fulfill many people's fanfics: back at the time of Megamax, there was a lot of speculation that Foundation X would keep returning, eventually building up to a final confrontation between the newest 7 (a la Legend Seven) or 10 Riders.
Since Ghost is the seventh in this Next Decade era, this whole "New Legend Seven" thing could happen. I'd love if all the actors came back and we got something like that.

BTW, how can people even tell Tsukada is the producer based on Ghost's appearance in the movie alone?

The name people are speculating due to the movie credits is Takahashi (who was a secondary producer for W, OOO and Fourze), not Tsukada. It's based on the movie's producer credits, since the producer likely would work alongside them in the movie for the next Rider's cameo, and apparently Takahashi's name is there in spite of not working in Drive.

It was mostly because of production changes, and exec decisions. Also, it was a good thing for a change. I really wonder how Ghost premiered in the movie, or was he simply shoe horned in.

On topic, and from what has been said about Ghost, he is a pretty dark character. Which is a good thing, change of pace in the characters. As long as he's more dark as in Kagami from Kabuto, where he's much more of a realist, and less of a Sir Grim Dark, we're good. I mean, I really like Shinnosuke and Kouta, but they are pretty happy characters (at least at the beginning). I feel that it will be good to start in a darker place ala Agito and Faiz as it has been years since we've done so.

As I understand it, the reason they stopped doing that was that it was no longer giving the first episode of the new series a ratings boost. Viewing figures have continued to decline, so I guess they thought the guest appearance was worth resurrecting ...

We don't know anything about the Rider's personality. There's no reason why he can't be happy (and I certainly hope he's not a whiner like Kagami) ... there would just be a bittersweet edge to it, as he is obviously dead

Okay so am I alone here and happy that the belt isn't super gimmicky and its pretty simple it's just an eyelid opens maybe with some lights and sounds. I never intend to speak for the whole Hju community but you know with things like a giant lizard as ghosts main bike or you know s Japanese men like Musashi and Benkei instead of the much predicted former riders as the Eyecons. And I know it's always super flashy and you know super exciting in the beginning even if the series turns out to be crap I thought once we saw Kamen Rider skull is almost the testing ground see if darker riders as the heroes would do well and it worked quite beautifully Kamen Rider skull is definitely up there in my top 5 list of best riders from Kamen Rider Double I think where I'm going with this is that all the crazy Hyatt and yo great photos and things like that in the beginning before the series hairs is actually going to live up to the Hive when it gets on our screens when we hear the music and one thing I have to explain is that I unfortunately miss read that Kamen Rider Ghost I forget the actual characters name non henshend name it said that he wanted to be a ghost hunter and I would have exploded something like the time Academy in Power Rangers time force but I would have thought that there would be some kind of school or Academy where they can get proper training in how to do so and I would guess kind of the graduation ceremony would revolve around you getting your, neither powers so to be honest if I got that wrong I really apologize

I'm of the same train of thought. Bright, happy, hopeful characters aren't bad...but what drew me to Rider in the first place was the whole "cut from the same cloth as the enemy" thing. I want to see a main rider who starts out with moral ambiguity, or one who struggles with their allegiance for a bit, or anything to make the connection between hero and villain a bit less divided. I really liked that about OOO when Eiji started turning into a Greeed while Ankh was turning human.

On the realistic side...doesn't seem like we'll get that since the plot pretty much says he has to defeat them in 99 days and all that. I did have an idea that maybe, if this is like a tournament kind of thing, when he wins he becomes their ruler. Like that's the only way he can come back to life. I could see that going several ways. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what we get, though.
