Years had passed since the days where the GenJyuKen's plot to use the RinJyuDen to create a being that would bring about this world's destruction, a plan that was foiled by a group known as the GekiRangers rose up and surpassed every challenge set before them. It was a series of events which led to the reunification between the rival styles which ushered in a new more peaceful era. Nonetheless the Fist Sages and SCRTC have remained vigilant, preparing new Gekirangers and new equpiment for them should a new evil force rise up and threaten humanity.
There is only one problem , in this peaceful time there is a certain stagnation and boredom among the new Gekirangers as they have little to do with their abilities other than train over and over again. While having plenty of time to practice is nice, the fact that they havent had many opportunities to use those skills in any real fights was more than a little counter productive. Quickly noticing this the Fist Sages and the former Gekirangers came up with an idea of sorts to help the new Gekirangers break free from that stagnation. Using the rivalry between the two groups of Gekirangers a competiton between them had been organized. It was nothing too fancy really just a series of one on one fights against each other, plus it was an opportunity for the Fist Sages and original Gekirangers to see just how effective their teachings were as well as which students turned out to be stronger than the others.
Finally the date set for this little competition between the two teams had arrived. The place selected for this particular event was none other than GekiJyuKen's sacred ground: Beast Origin Village where the Fist Sages originally learned all their abilities. For the purpose of keeping the rangers from accidentally destroying a valuable piece of GekiJyuKen history an arena reminiscient of a boxing ring had been set up with a barrier or sorts around it to prevent collateral damage. Naturally all of those who were involved were there to watch as the new Gekirangers faced each other, the fist sages, the original Gekirangers including Gou and Ken as well as Gou's student and several others who were interested in seeing just what these new Gekirangers were capable of.
Glenn Bryant, also known as GekiAqua, seemed to be the most relaxed one there, probably because his and GekiRed's match would be the last one, while the others were probably training to keep their skills sharp for their fights, psyching themselves up or just being anxious while waiing, he was contemplating taking a nap for a while. As far as Gekirangers went he was probably the most relaxed to ever wear a pair of Gekichangers, something that even Ken Hisatsu acknowledged yet when he changed he became quite serious and occasionally a little hyperactive. Some said he had some sort of multiple personality disorder, but most just agreed that due to the training he recieved he could just easily get serious when he needed to.
For now he decided to just sit with the other spectators until it was his turn to fight, feeling that he was already more than prepared already. "So who is gonna be up first?" he asked his teacher, Sharkie Chan who happened to be sitting next to him.
"If I remember correctly Ran's student and Elehan's student will be going first, followed by Retsu and Bat Li's students." sharkie told him, obviously anxious to see them and his own student in an actual fight.
"Sounds like this is gonna be interesting...anyways wake me up when they start." Glenn said before closing his eyes and taking a nap while still sitting up.
