Having Wakamatsu serve as the head producer for the series could be pretty interesting. He did help Goseiger out of its slump and seems to work well under pressure. I'd like to see just what could be capable of given a full series and given the time to craft something he has control over. Regardless of who the producer for the show ends up being, it's likely that Bandai (and maybe Toei) told them to keep things simple and light, so I have to wonder how much that effects their thought process when it comes to creating a show when you know that you have to adhere to that mentality. Maybe it's not the show they want to make about a dinosaur Sentai, so that apathy sets in.
I want to say that Hikasa isn't going to be returning to Sentai, but he did say he was retiring after Go-Onger, and then was supposedly stepping down after he left Goseiger during the middle of its run and then he does Akibaranger. If that second season of Akibaranger does happen, that's probably going to keep him too busy to do Kyoryuger.
I think it's either going to be Wakamatsu or we might end up with a new person.
