JLU in Danger of Cancellation!!!

Thanks for that. Damn where do they get these stupid ideas? So, I take it that's why Robin could only appear in TT, and not The Batman or JLU?

Yoo godduh be fahgging kidding me!

I think the real problem we might be facing is that the brains behind Cartoon Network seem to think they have two kinds of viewers; the ones who watch kiddy type shows like Ed, Edd and Eddy, Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi, and the dub of One Piece, and the ones who tune in for full-blown not-for-kids animation in the Adult Swim block. Shows that might appeal to both young and somewhat older viewers like JLU and Samurai Jack keep getting pushed back or cancelled, so I don't know how else to explain it.

P.S. I'm sorry but I do think Titans started to stink this season :/

All true, except I don't think Titans sucked this year, and I think it reached the magic # required for them to be able to hit syndication, which is 65. In other words, its not being canceled--it ended.

I acknowledged that whilst discussing the differences, Titans had a lengthy run, five years, four had it not have been for last minute orders from WB, JLU was robbed, three years, a less ensemble of episodes, if you want to get technical, add JL and its' easily five years also, but I just think the first two were wasted on elongated boring arcs, and regard JLU as when the franchise really took off.

I suppose we'll have to disagree on Titans' fifth season being the weakest, to me it felt like a blatant rehash of the LOD arc running in JLU, and using aspects OF JLU, it was supposed to be BBs' season, but very little episodes have ellaborated on him, all of the relationships are also being flat out ignored in favour of solo showcases or comedy outings.

Its' almost a shame the same embargos and policies prevented BB/Raven from happening (Murikamai wanted to stay close to Wolmans' Titans comics), or that "Bethroned" was'nt an entire SEASON as the comic version was lengthier, and made more of an impact in Dicks' life (it split he and Star up in the original story), I just think Titans' fifth season had an oppertunity, with Trigon out of the way, to explore Ravens' human side. Did'nt happen.

And fourthly, No-Fracken-Slade.

'Nuff said.

I'm very terribly disappointed with Cartoon Network. Why would they pushed one of the best superheroes TV series back to Spring? That is totally suck.

It was completely too painful to wait for long time.

BRING JLU BACK!

That's why Cartoon Network sucks!

They better not cancel JLU. CN would be nuts for doing that and the fan backlash will be tremendous. Great fuckin' run though.

Raven's human side? Ew. Personally, I got sick of Trigon, Slade, and all the rest of the common TT villains that stayed around the entire season or more. The way used the appearance of numerous teen guest stars and what not was a fresh change of pace to a show that had gotten very boring.

TT was never too much of a hit with me, either--too many changes. Now if it'd been more like Marv Wolfman and George Perez's run on TT in terms of plot and writing, it would've been a different story. As it is, TT took too many liberties with some of the characters. I mean, come on--Pantha as a pro wrestler? Argent some zombiefied-looking goth girl?

And don't even get me started on Killer Moth's psycho daughter, Kitten. Yeesh...
