Is New Den-O considering lead Rider now?

I finished up all of the Den-O Blu-ray Movies (watching every movie on b-r from G4 to A-Z) and I was slowly beginning to think New Den-O sorta became his own Rider rather than being under the Den-O wing.

Shin, J, ZO, ZX are all movie exclusive Riders which do appear in the team ups and anniversary movies. Now New Den-O is in the lead for Let's Go Kamen Riders along with all of the other main Riders. Similar to that of Riderman (Kamen Rider 4) whom was a secondary Rider but somehow became one of the leads.

So do you guys consider New Den-O as a lead Rider now or is he still under the Den-O wing?.

I always thought New Den-O may as well be a lead rider by now.

He appears in a group shot with all the other main riders in the new OOOs movie..that should say something I think.

I'm not really sure about it. He was never a titular Rider, and, even in this new movie, OOO seems to be the main character, not New Den-O.

I'll consider him a main Rider if he takes over the Den-O series with next year's movie though, or if he appears in an All Riders line up in a movie that doesn't include Den-O in the title.

Diend appeared in main Rider groupshots during Decade though, but he obviously isn't there anymore.

I always considered him a main rider. He's the Rider-2 to Den-O's Rider-1.

A rider who's very similar in concept and looks like he could just be another form of the main rider, brought in to make the loss of the original lead manageable.

In an interview that was in Tokusatsu Newtype, they said that they are dropping "New" from his name. So, New Den-O is now Den-O. He's basically taking over Den-O. From here on, Kotaro will be the main character of Den-O if there are going to be more Den-O movies.

What? But official material for this movie is still calling him New Den-O... Although I guess their decision makes sense, especially considering how it looks like Kotaro's actor is just like Yaguruma's and Ouja's, always around to work in Rider movies.

Essentially, he's a combination of Ryotaro and Yuuto.:sly:

Well, if "New" is going to be taken out of "New Den-O" what about "G Den-O?" Is he going to be a Den-O also? Just because Eve is destroyed doesn't mean Reiji or whoever can be another G Den-O.

This displeases me. Den-O is always going to be Takeru. I am fine with New Den-O being a 'new' Den-O. But replacing Takeru's Den-O? Not chill. They are replacing him.

They wouldn't do it for the originals. Or Godai or Shotaro and Phillip. But they let Kotaro become Den-O??
