Is GARO really good?

Just finished Garo Series and its 2 OVAs and here are my thoughts so far....

Garo TV Series:

Pros:
- Dark Mature theme
- Girl's boobies
- Mark Musashi
- Zero
- Most of the Asian chicks were hot
- Demons look pretty rad

Cons:
- Balagon did not get enough development time...Mark Musashi did more ass kicking than Balagon...
- Mark Musashi did not get enough fight scenes...he would kick the sh*t out both Garo and Zero....WHY DID THEY EVEN MAKE MARK TRANSFORM TO A DEMON FREAK WHICH KILLED HIS BADDASS RATINGS AT THE END
- Get rid of the armored horses

Best Moments...
- Every fight scene with Mark Musashi beating the sh*t out of Garo and whoever
- The Chess game between Garo and his master
- 1st Fight between Zero vs Garo


OVA:

Pros:
- Mark Mushashi returns....
- Jabi's BOOBS and SEXY LEGS....

Cons:
- Fight scenes were not as good as the TV Series Overall...(Most of the fights could not top Mark's first fight with Garo in TV Series)
- Adding the White Armor Warrior made it look too much Power Rangers...plus he was more annoying than good...
- Armor Horse gotta go...

Best Moments:
- Brief fight with Mark Musashi
- Jabi's BOOBS and SEXY LEGS...

i guess i like more of the fast pace fighting aka Hong Kong Style from Tony Ching Sui-Tung, Yuen Wo Ping, Donny Yen, and Corey Yuen etc...

The Japanese Zero Action Team with Tak Sakaguchi (Death Trance, Devil May Cry 3, Versus) is pretty awesome...

The South Korean Action Team from Jeong Doo Hong is good also (Arahan, City of Violence, Fighter in the Wind, Natural City)

one of the best moments in the OVA was when kouga was fighting in the helmtet-less garo armour :buttrock:

I was kind of wondering that myself. Doesn't OVA stand for Original Video Animation? Or something like that?

Doesn't exactly fit with a live-action TV special

Very good series but very overrated. It isn't the best ever in terms of characters and story. While still good, not great.

The Boobies just sold GARO for me when i first started watching it
