Is Decade a series worthy for the annivesary?

There are plenty of other ways Toei could have done this show without:
(a) throwing in recasts
(b) Including these retarded Final Form Rides
(c) More Rider-vs-Rider just for the sake of it. (Really, this is getting tiresome. Kuuga and Kiva have similar forms: Let's have them fight! Kiva and Knight are both bat-based: Let's have them fight! Ryuki and Blade both use cards: Let's have them fight! AwESoME!!! Who is writing this show, Shun Aikawa or a crazed fanboy?)

Maybe have a show about Tsukasa traveling to each world and replacing the missing Rider. Maybe a show about all the past villains converging into Tsukasa's world, and past Riders make guest appearences every few episodes to guide him. And so on and so forth. Stuff like that sounds more straightforward (in essence the ZX special stretched across 30 episodes or however many Decade will have) and frankly less dumb than a "Tsukasa travels to 'alternate' versions of past Rider Worlds where different people are the Riders and he fights them to fill the Rider Battle quota"

Of there are plenty of other ways. Decade could be red! He could be thinner! They could've Macekred (ala Robotech) the other Rider shows into a single timeline. They could've brought back Den-O again. (Wait..)

There were two ways they could've gone with this. Serious epic, or fan-ribbing fun. They went with the latter.

It's a generally mindless fun little series, and yes, you can tell they've set up little fanfic battles, a la Secret Wars or Marvel/DC. For the most part, they've hit a specific tone and haven't deviated from it. The Final Form Rides happen and I just nod my head and keep going.

Is it what I expected? No. But I was waiting for Decade to use Illusion against Trick Vent, and it happened! I actually enjoyed the Ryuki Final Attack Ride as a nice shout-out to his Rider Kick. I thought the Dogga Hammer transmute into Titan Sword was a surprisingly inventive. I'm still hoping for Clock Up versus Accel Form.

I was decently sure they weren't going to get all the old Riders back, so I'm glad they just decided to replace them all. Perhaps we'll get them for a movie. Generally, I understand where you're coming from, but that's not the direction they went with here. But I still think this works as an anniversary series.

Well Toei can't afford to use original casts again also same for making new forms and suits. I'm ok with it b/c I think Decade's plot is pretty decent and much better then Kiva, which I drop like 30 eps in between.
