While i'm not waiting with bated breath for the next W ep; i think it's because the show is going in two ep arcs. With two ep arcs you kinda don't have too much incentive to watch each and every ep as soon as it comes out. I hope they come out with some longer arcs, because they're wrapping up with story in two eps then leaving little to connect to the next ep. It's a boring format so I hope they work through that because I love W.

This format has been around since Kuuga, but it was Yonemura aka Kabuto's head writer that is the common user of these episode arcs. I think the primary reason why the Kabuto series has received such negative criticism is b/c of the usage of "2 ep arcs." The thing with Yonemura was that he always tried to make each "2 ep arc" stand out from one another, but it resulted in creating a lot of plotholes and didn't resolve much at the end of the Kabuto series.

The same could be said with Yonemura's work with the Decade series towards the end.......considering most of his episode arcs completely disregarded some of the plots created in the beginning of the Decade series from the other ppl that wrote the series (such as Aikawa and Inoue).

I hope W doesn't kill itself down this road as well with the usage of the "2 ep arc" format

W's arcs have been written more tightly-- minor character points continue from one arc to another. I think W will hang together much better as a whole, provided it doesn't run off the rails entirely at some point.

At long as they don't let Yonemura touch this series, just like they ignored Inoue for this series, then I think W will be fine.
