I'm 1/2 way through Kabuto- what now?

So, because of all the Kamen Rider talk, I decided to watch Kamen Rider Kabuto via Youtube & made it up to Gatack's intro so far. Surprisingly, I'm actually enjoying this- as I usually hate Asian films/ television due to randomness & adding in things that make it either extremely childish, dull or bizarre.

Does anyone have any suggestions of which season I should go for after this? I don't really want to watch any of the 70s/ 80s seasons & I kinda stopped watching Hibiki automatically when the musical sounds began to get rather annoying. I began watching Kiva & almost died laughing because he is soooo wierd- but, ironically, not in a bad way- just wierd.:laugh:

Based on what I've seen, I would say Ryuki or W. Ryuki has that whole "ambiguous Rider purpose" thing going on that Kabuto has, and lots of Rider vs. Rider. W just oozes style like Kabuto does.

There's also Decade if you love sci-fi and want a sampler of each Rider's design aesthetic--and it doesn't look like you're too steeped in Rider lore to get mad at all the compromises they had to make to make it work.

Congratulations on getting to Gatack, though! He's one of the best parts of that show bar none.

Hmmm, maybe Ryuki- I sorta liked Dragon Knight, so...

Hahah! I friggin sit there for hours watching Den-o's opening theme because it makes it somehow look both childish & cool at the same time- don't know how they managed that one.:laugh:

Watch W before Den-O, that's my only suggestion

For your next Rider series after Kabuto, that's really up to you........but follow the criteria I stated above

You are a terrible person for giving up on Hibiki so easily

Agito and Kuuga are really good, Kuuga especially, probably one of the best series out there. Though, they are from 2000/2001, so keep that in mind when it comes to CGI.

75% of Decade not being confusing at all aside... dude, he's watching Kabuto.

By the time he finishes that, all of Heisei will make sense to him :laugh:

And once you're done with those, give Hibiki and Kiva a 2nd chance.
Hibiki only had that musical thing in the first ep. Once Ibuki get's introduced, thats when things start to really roll.
And Kiva was interesting, they really pushed the romance part in the series, and Kurenai Otoya, you wouldnt want to miss him now would ya? Also....Wataru changes somewhat later on at the end XD
But yeah, give those two a try again, they're both good series.

:laugh: Yeah, my little bro already got me into that mess- he began watching literally the day after I did &, when I told him what I knew about Decade (Decade can turn back & forth into every single Rider & use their powers/ abilities) he wanted to watch the first episode- even though he liked it we were both confused as hell!

Actually, I ironically somewhat liked what I saw of Kiva- that Wataru guy was just so wierd I couldn't stop laughing- who the frick steals fish from a cat?!? It made a little more sense when I realized what all the fish was for, though.
