I'm 1/2 way through Kabuto- what now?

Hibiki's most definitely worth a second try. Great series, if only Inoue didn't come screw everything up.

Kuuga/Agito. Both are great, CGI is definitely dated. But Kuuga is a spectacular show. As is Agito.

I would suggest to you Faiz. After watching Kabuto, I'm pretty sure you might like Faiz.

Actually, I ironically somewhat liked what I saw of Kiva- that Wataru guy was just so wierd I couldn't stop laughing- who the frick steals fish from a cat?!? It made a little more sense when I realized what all the fish was for, though.

Well you gotta remember, at that point, Wataru was absolutely socially oblivious and a recluse outside of knowing Shizuka, so he probably wasn't the brightest bulb.

2nd half wasnt so bad. Unless you didnt like that certain character, I thought it was pretty good. Hell, I think the ending wasnt so bad myself >.>

Yeah, the only real complaint I have about Kabuto so far is why an Organization trying to save the world would invent super weapons that can... choose whatever master they please...

ZECT could have avoided that whole series if they would have not made the Zecters so damn smart- then the Gatack one practically kills ever possible canidate they have, anyway!:laugh:

Sorry, I was actually psyched for Hibiki- but once I heard all the sound effects, I just thought "Man, if it's going to keep up with these musical sound effects for the whole damn episode- I'm going to go nuts"- so I just gave up.

Half way through Kabuto!? I feel bad for you, thats when the stupid starts.

Anyway, after that I'd suggest checking out Kuuga and Agito afterwards.
Honestly, the first five heisei riders are all pretty good solid shows but I'd suggest one of the first two seasons first then go from there.

Ryuki is great but drops the ball half-way through, Faiz is fantastic but heavily flawed in areas while Blades great but doesn't hit anything really out of the ballpark.

Hibiki is the House of flying daggers of the KR shows, great show but a lousy KR show.

Den-O is fantastic but is radically different from it's predecessors. It's a wacky wonderful action comedy romp. Don't listen to what anyone says about it, they're just angry it didn't make them feel cool watching it

Stay away from Kiva if you know what's good for you. I personally hated the show with a passion and wanted to shove live leeches into my eyes sometimes.

Don't worry, that's what the other half of Kabuto is for.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I was watching it. The first half is all serious business and stuff, and it was officially the first tokusatsu that I got into.
