I think I may be leaving Toku....forever

Yeah, I know, its one of these threads again.

But let me give you the background of my story of why this is happneing......

When I get into Toku 2 years ago, I thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread. And I LOVED every minute of it. And it never got old. But there was always one fear that I had, people finding out about it.

So I kept it secret. Everytime I had friends or family over, I would always delete my history of videos or even this site. Because i was scared of it.

A couple of weeks ago, my friends went on my laptop, and saw a picture of my fanfic, Masked Rider Navy (which by the way you should all check out!) and laughed at me. But I was okay with that, they had no idea what it was.

Then yesterday came, and it went bad....

I had some friends over, and we were watchin year one. I accidently hit the play button on the dvd remote. Little did I know I had a Ultraman DVD in and it came on. My heart raced and I was made fun of the whole night. I hid my stuff that morning. And now, I boxed everything, comics, figures, all my Toku DVDs, and gave it to my mom and said, "Make sure I or anyone for that matter find this." She asked why, because she knew about it and that it was awesome.

Because I was learning Japanese, she was even thinking of taking me there over the summer if we had the money (not saying were broke, but that shits expensive!). I was so hurt when my friends found everything. Now thye haven't stopped harrasing me about it.

Recently, I have found myself less and less getting on to HJU. I lost my News Hound job, the RPG I am in has preety much forgot about me. And its because I was embaressed of this is.

I used to be proud to say "TOKU ROCKS!" Now, I just am embaressed.

And its wrong I know. I should be PROUD of everything about Toku. But with me switiching High Schools, I......I just can't take it. So, this is possibly my final post. I just need some time to think this all over.

You guys all rock, and I wish I could be like all of you, PROUD to be Toku fans. But I am a teenager, I am only 16 (yes I am one of the younger ones) and just ahve too much on my mind.

Again, this is just to let everyone know what is going on, and to not think that I am leaving in vein. Because I don't know if I will leave. I don't want to, but I think I have to? Isn't this some bullshit?! **** my life.

I hope I was able to make an impact on all you guys, if not, well, I am sorry. Because you all made an impact on me. So NO FINAL GOODBYES yet, just a see you later on.

Why does it matter what other people think? Do what you enjoy, don't do what you think other people want you to enjoy.

Dude, don't be damned embarrassed to say you like Toku. So what if people make fun of you? My friends call me nerd when I talk about Kamen Rider, but at least I say, "Hey, two of you used to watch it too, so go **** yourselves."

Toku is as much Japanese as anime is. you shouldn't be ashamed of it.

There are factors of friends you should know before you even call them friends in the first place.

A) Friends would never make fun of what you like. Friends should be accepting of what you like, and may even give it a try. If they don't like it, that's them. You can't force it upon them.
B) Friends care about what you have to say or do. Sometimes, it's best to listen to what friends say and take their advice. In turn, they'll do the same to you.
C) The most important aspect of having friends and identifying them. Friends are always there for another. Yeah, so you can get into fights and stuff, but there's always room for making up. If they aren't there for you, they're not your real friends.

So don't base your life around your friends, base your life around what you think. If girls don't like you because you like toku and stuff and call you nerd and **** and go for the guys just because he's fucking built, plays sports, is popular, and probably has a big cock, they're shallow girls who just want to have fun. If guys think you're a nerd and beat you up for it, then they're the type of guys who'll end up getting killed in some gang fight or some stupid ****, like overdose. Don't fucking base yourself around other people's opinions, it's your own that matters.

And if anyone else doesn't care about what you say, tell them to **** off and live your life the way you do it.

Hell, I still watch Spongebob, and I don't care what anyone says.

You can't let anyone decide what you do and do not like. This statement is cliche as hell but it still stands strong is that your real friends will support what you like, that's what makes them friends.

That really is a shame about your friends, I'm 16 and my friends don't really care for or about my interest in toku.

I'm sixteen as well, and only my close friends know about my Toku habits.
(So I think I can relate to your secrecy.)
Hopefully it would be great that you stay, even though I just joined the site very recently and I'm a new member. I totally understand. Think it through to the best of your ability man! Ganbare yo. (Do Your Best.) Don't give up. :castlerock:

Kid, my room is littered with Rider stuff, PR stuff, Transformers, you name it. I have had multiple women in my apartment and they didn't give a **** about my stuff. Hell, my roommate is a complete jock and he doesn't give a ****.

Like stuff because you like it, don't let anybody else tell you otherwise. If your friends make fun of you, kick em in the balls.
