What you are missing is the fact that Kojima said himself it will be a PS3 exclusive. Keith, if you honestly believe that MGS4 will port over to the 360, you might want to follow MGS4 updates a little more closely

what's your point? The lead designer and producer of Resident Evil 4 said he would cut off his own head before RE4 was ported to any console other than the Gamecube. You still want to stand by your argument that Konami will never port MGS4 to another system?

Still a Possibility I think, I really think MGS4 could help with the PS3 in terms of Sales ( Especially now since there is a Cheaper Model coming out, Which is a more Downgraded version of the Old 20GB but It will still sell ) but I really think they can get more Sales if it came to the 360, Halo 3 has been making the Xbox 360's sell like Hotcakes ( The Store I work at and all the Other Stores in my Local Shopping centre was sold out, and Its one of the Biggest Centres down here in VIC, Australia ), and a Possiblity of another Price Drop by Christmas could make Konami have a change of Heart.

I too remember the, "I would rather kill a man infront of his own mamma, than see RE4 on the PS2."

And sure enough.

And considering how much money they spent on MGS4 and the PS3 install base.... I'd say a likelyhood is possible for it to hit the 360, once they've maxed out what profits they'll make on the PS3.

Lets see:

Skies of Arcadia was exclusive to Dreamcast until they wanted to make more off it when it was ported to the GameCube.

Resident Evil Code Veronica was exclusive to the dreamcast till capcom realized they needed to make a real profit off the game, so they ported it to the PS2.

And lets not forget sonic the hedgehog. Sega's once great console mascot. Now he is on all systems.

Exclusive means nothing in video games. It doesn't even mean a thing when coming from the games designers and producers. If the top guys in the company wanted it ported, then it will be ported. Just to think THERE IS NO CHANCE, simply because kojima says so... well in a year or so when Konami realizes they need to recoup the money on MGS4 that they lost keeping it on PS3... All the 360 owners will be laughing while playing.

Yup exactly. And with the low sales of PS3 right now they might just do that.

Once MGS4 and FFXIII drop, PS3 will sell like hotcakes.
Look at what Halo3 did to the Xbox360.

No it won't. The price is what is preventing people from buying it now. But since you are set in your ways and can't understand the points others of us are making, I will wait till MGS4 is out on 360 then come and bump this thread when it is long dead

Also FF13 is not coming out until 2009. So you might want to rethink what will make the PS3 sell over the next year.
