I noticed something odd about Leangle

For those of you watched Kamen Rider Blade, you know how each of the Rider's Category 6 card have the same effect of supplementing the next attack they do with a different attribute. Here's what they are:

Blade: Thunder Deer
Garren: Fire Fly
Chalice: Tornado Hawk
Leangle: Blizzard Polar

But I noticed that Leangle's Category 8 and 9 cards also supplement his next attack with a different attribute too. Here is what they are:

8 of Clubs: Poison Scorpion
9 of Clubs: Smog Squid

Now, what I want to know is how come the writers gave Leangle more then one card that supplements his next attack with an attribute?

Here is a link to Kamen Rider Leangle at Wikipedia so you can see for yourself:

The 9 of Spades and Diamonds (Mach Jaguar and Gemini Zebra) also supplement attacks with attributes. The only Category 9 that doesn't is 9 of Hearts (Recover Camel), which was never used.

No, Mach Jaguar and Gemini Zebra do not say they supplement their respective owners' next attack with an attribute. Their descriptions on wikipedia are written as this:

Mach Jaguar: Enhances speed and agility.
Gemini Zebra: Creates an optical doppelgänger of the user for a double attack.

Now, here is the description of the 4 Category 6 cards and Leangle's category 8 and 9 cards:

Category 6 cards
Thunder Deer: Supplements the next attack with a lightning-attribute.
Fire Fly: Supplements the next attack with a fire-attribute.
Tornado Hawk: Supplements the next attack with a wind-attribute.
Blizzard Polar: Supplements the next attack with an ice-attribute.

8 of Clubs
Poison Scorpion: Supplements the next attack with a poison-attribute.

9 of Clubs
Smog Squid: Supplements the next attack with a smoke-attribute.

See the difference? the 9 of Spades and Diamonds cards do not count because they don't say they supplement their users next attack with an attribute. Only the 8 and 9 of Clubs cards have the same effect as the 4 Category 6 cards.

it's becuase Leangle has just that blizzard kick attack, so the need to mix things up. blade has two kicks and a slash, Garren two kicks and his gun.

Actually, Leangle has 3 attacks using his Category 6 Blizzard Polar card.

Blizzard Crush: ♣5 Bite Cobra + ♣6 Blizzard Polar
Blizzard Gale: ♣3 Screw Mole + ♣6 Blizzard Polar
Blizzard Venom: ♣4 Rush Rhinoceros + ♣6 Blizzard Polar + ♣8 Poison Scorpion

Wait... what? This doesn't make any sense.

No, I pretty much see that as same difference. Mach makes his attacks faster, and Gemini does double the damage. Poison is well poison and smog is just poison gas?

Either way, Mutsuki was emo and stupid for 80% of the series so it didn't really matter if his cards matched up or not.

if you think about, how diffrent are they? they're all rider kicks based on the powers of C6. Blade and Garren have rider kicks and weapon finishers.

Actually, of those three, only Blizzard Crush is a Rider Kick. Blizzard Gale is more like a Rider Punch because Screw Mole's effect enhances the power of a screw punch and Blizzard Venom is, and I quote from Wikipedia, where Leangle leaps into the air and strikes with his rouser which is tipped with an icy poison; weakening his opponent to toss up, coupling ♣4's "RUSH" effect imbued with both attributes of ♣6's "BLIZZARD" and ♣8's "POISON. So, not all of Leangle's combo attacks involving Blizzard Polar are kick attacks.
