Is "Raised by Wolves" Overrated or Just Misunderstood?

Time for Time Force!
I know this might ruffle some feathers, but I genuinely think "Raised by Wolves" is a bit overrated. Sure, the visuals are stunning and it offers a fresh take on sci-fi through the lenses of androids and philosophical debates about faith and reason. However, I found the narrative frustratingly convoluted by season 2, and some character arcs felt like they were just spinning their wheels instead of moving forward. The mystery boxes were intriguing at first, but by the end, they came off more as a distraction than a meaningful payoff. Am I alone in thinking that it lost its way? What do you all think, did it live up to the hype for you?

I totally get where you're coming from with the convoluted narrative in season 2. It reminded me a lot of Lost in its later seasons, where the mystery boxes became more of a chore than a thrilling journey. You start off hooked by the questions and the world-building, but then it feels like the show is just throwing twists at you without clear direction. Some character arcs, like with Mother, were compelling initially but felt like they got lost in the shuffle of the plot's complexity. The visuals are breathtaking, but sometimes it seems they overshadow the story itself, which is frustrating for those of us who crave both.
