Yo Team Fremont,
What's crackin'? Billy Shank the Danger Boy here. Now, I don't wanna seem self conscious or anything when it comes to descriptions of my website, but it's not a Power Ranger, HALO and cosplay message board. There's no shame that we have fans that enjoy Power Rangers, while the show runs we'll have two dedicated threads to it a week among literally hundreds of others. HALO's a game we just all have over there and when it comes to cosplay, we have like two girls that really excel at making costumes.

It's more of a geek-topia for people that are drawn together by being fans of Japanese live-action shows or what we call "tokusatsu." Shows that bare more a resemblance to American aired shows like Highlander, Cleopatra 2525, M.A.N.T.I.S or our other syndicated sci-fi shows; than Power Rangers. But over the years it's blossomed into video games, comic books, sci-fi shows... basically the full spectrum of geekdom. When it comes to games, we try and do up some HALO once a month. Tastes are all over the place, but do mainly focus on a love of Japanese developed games... and Mass Effect. Console-wise the 360 reigns supreme as it's the best value, coupled with it being the easiest way for all of us to play together. Before that, PS2 was king... and still is to a degree for import fans.
When it comes to entertainment, you're just as likely to see threads on the Green Lantern: Sinestro Corp, the new Dr. Who Series, Pro-Wrestling and other talk as you are to see a Power Ranger thread.
I'm not expecting any TFL crossover as the VGEVO/TFL-verse is a formidable internet community that I'm more than proud to call a geek safe haven and second home on the cyberweb.
I'm just sayin'....... we're not a Power Ranger, HALO and cosplay board.... not to seem self conscious or anything.
I'm gonna close this up, I've taken up enough of your time yappin' on about my little cybertown. You guys put out the call for what we're looking forward to in 2008? One word.... FALLOUT. I've been wanting to live the post-apocalyptic fantasy since I was a kid and saw Mad Max. Other movies like Patrick Swayze's Steel Dawn and Van Damne's CYBORG have also fueled my desire for fantasy that takes place after the armageddon. When it comes to it, Fallout is getting all my attention this year. It looks like Oblivion, but in a setting I'd actually like to play in. I even ordered the PC games from Amazon, and I haven't played a PC game since I was killing Kilrathi in Wing Commander on Windows 3.1.
That and Devil May Cry 4 which stars ex-Power Rangers Johnny Yong Boch and Daniel Southworth who also did their own motion capture martial art action... I'm just sayin'. ^__-
'Til the Return of the Captain, see you guys at the Daryls!
Justice at the Speed of Science,
William Shankovitch, over and out.
