How was your Prom?

Never went to mine. I didn't have an interest to go, since my school wasn't even a school to called it by.

Speaking of proms, my gf's prom is coming this friday, but it's a shame I can't go with her, since they have an age limit & I'm working on that day aswell. So I'll probably be hanging with my boyz or making it a game night for myself.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any butthurt "Teh prom is overatted!!!!" comments.

-My prom was back in 2005

-Date looked beautiful

-She danced with nobody but me and I wasn't complaining......she had DAT ASS.

-Funny story about the Prom King and Queen: they found the guy that was supposed to be king, but couldn't find the queen. After a few minutes, she came running to the stage with a piece a toilet paper stuck to one of her heels.

I'd say prom was a good night for me. And my brother had his last week. They grow up so fast. :(

Mine's gonna be in 14 months.
At my school, after the Y11s leave school in may, they come back in the last day of the school year and dance from 8pm to midnight.

I had one, but it's not THE prom.
It's basically a prom of the equivalent of what's middle school in USA.

It was great, very very memorable, it was supposed to be a normal prom, but me and my whole class shaped things a little.
The highlights was messing up with a hateful teacher (that was me only) and somehow playing Kane's theme song (Slow Chemical) on the sound system. It was very loud, and the looks on people's faces was priceless.
Oh, and I went there with fingerless gloves and sunglasses, the whole time, not many people get to say that.

I had my yr11 prom wayyyyyy back in 2008. suit was a bit big and i didnt win anything but it wasnt all bad had two prom dates (they asked me together) who looked amazing and me and some friends thought it would be funny to dance to soulja boy in a line across the dance floor so it was a fun night

just bought my year 13 prom ticket today, unfortunatly they where £20 each:redface2:

Didn't go to mine, but I went with a friend to hers a couple years ago. It was about as lame as I had expected. A lot of brainless orange people booty dancing and dressed in formal wear that looked like candy wrappers. Honestly, I don't know why prom has become such an esteemed tradition. Everybody just goes to say they went and the real fun doesn't start until you leave.

I never went to my prom either. Didn't have much school spirit nor the will to get involved much, and I wasn't interested in being with most of the people from school.

Though I did go out with this one girl to see "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" that night of the prom. IIRC, it was a casual conversation in one class of mine ranging from movies, etc. and then being asked if I was going to prom (I said "no, I wasn't") and I just so happened to ask her out to the then-upcoming movie when she said wasn't interested in going to prom either. (She happens to be interested in Star Wars too... to my surprise.)

Overall, it was a pretty good night. I had been waiting for SWIII:ROTS to be released for quite a long time ever since SWII: AOTC and was really hyped to see it. I was really glad she was able to see it with me that night.

After prom (back in school), there was this other girl who said she was sad I didn't go to prom since she wanted to dance with me, so she said.

I went to my Junior and Senior Proms. Went by myself junior year, suit was fine (belongs to my dad), one a radio. Went to my Senior prom last year, got put together with a girl whose date bailed on her. A mutal friend of ours asked me, and I couldn't let her go by herself, so I took her.

Same thing as the year before, suit was my dads, but that was only because I couldn't afford my own...sucks having no cash. Didn't win anything last year, but I did get damn good on Guitar Hero World Tour.

COuldn't take my girlfriend to hers because she's eighthundred miles away from me, but I promised her that we'd dance when we met, so I'm looking forward to that.
