Heroman - Anime written by Stan Lee

^

It would all depend who was dubbing it and where it was aired for a casting like that.

Since it's a Stan Lee project, it's very possible Disney (since they have Marvel under their umbrella now) would make a try for it and then that becomes quite possible.

The first episode is cool.

Question- this is Stan's first try at doing anime and manga? I'll read the manga soon.

i believe it is his second as he is also working with the author of shaman king (his name escapes me) on karakuridouji ultimo where he appears quite frequently in the story

You guys should read Ultimo. It's pretty good.

I prefer it to heroman in all honesty, only problem i have with it is that its released very sporadically

I also heard a while ago that Ultimo was supposedly going to get an anime too but i havent read anything about it in a while.

i enjoyed watching the first two episodes and cant wait for the next episode

This. This is awesome. The American flag type design on the robot is a little cliche, but thts the last thing on my mind. Finally an Anime where there is an abundnce of black people and/or different races. This blows my mind that stan lee is working on an anime. I gotta watch this.

You see, this is what you call cultures coming together. Great openmindedness on both countries part also.

Would it be too much for Joey to be VA'd by Spike Spencer? Really?

That's certainly the sort of tone-deaf, knee-jerk casting I expect out of cheap, shoddy anime dubbing. I would hope a production of Heroman's caliber would get treated a little better. This show is tailor-made for dubbing.

Heroman is also completely awesome. I like it quite a bit better than Ultimo, though Ultimo isn't bad. Heroman just feels like Stan Lee was more involved in the production and has more hallmarks of his writing style.

Ultimo feels more like Stan Lee handed a story bible over to the Shaman King dude, who read it over and thought "Well, it's pretty good, but it needs more homosexual innuendo..."

This feels like Just Imagine Stan Lee's Gigantor or What if Peter Parker had a giant robot, which isn't bad at all. And for the record Stan Lee is in no way officially connected with Marvel anymore, that said Pow! does have a first look with Disney so I could see this ending up on Disney XD. My one point of dissent is with the name Heroman, it just doesn't have bombastic charm that Stan Lee usually brings to the table.
