due to inconvinences (holiday gatherings and the DM's short term addiction to Cod Black ops) the game's on hiatus till the first to allow the party to get clear of the holiday buzz that meaning probably till after the first of the year) i'll hope to be back on by the first weekend after for those watching their calenders that would be the 8th

This week on Heroes Academy: These three things happened

First: A young baker with a grudge against society made her presence felt.

Next: A mysterious greeed emerged. Her intention was to guide a new warrior in a war against her monstrous kind.

Finally: Akihara discovered a new power, the strange sword named Bulmung, a weapon from a by gone time and a far away land.

In the last set of misadventures...

Things sort of ground to a halt for a while as everyone decided to take Casual Fridays waaaaaaaay too far. It was kinda weird. Once everyone got their ducks in a row, the Love Boat finally arrived at The Island and everyone was killed by the smoke monster was shuffled into an auditorium for some boring beginning of the year speech (Remember the part where this is supposed to involve a school? It only took us a bloody month and a half to get to it!). We all fell asleep, so no one's really sure what they were saying.

But then, through a MYSTERIOUS ARTIFICE, most everyone woke up in a strange tower. After a run in with some unintelligble lizard men, the group was saved by an old man, who proceded to dump a lot of expoisition that basically was summed up as such: THE PARTY HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED BY A BUSTED-ASS MAGNET. ARE YOU BAD ENOUGH DUDES TO FIX THE TOWER?

I have assumed control of the game.

Previously, on This Old House...

The group, minus those who were left out because I didn't want to deal with them, trudged their way up the Staircase of Exposition and found that it was taking forever to get anywhere. Once arriving at their destination, they stole a servant's life savings, beat an old man at Scrabble, and met a deranged assassin/doctor. They then found themselves in a room full of massive gears and the lizard men from earlier. After getting torn up by said gears, they managed to break more of the tower they were trying to fix and killed the lizard dudes...at which point we were forced to stop due to scheduling conflicts and real life incidents.

So when we last left these guys, they had just killed some lizard dudes. After that, they found a wicked greenhouse full of all sorts of plants, another broken gear, and a massive door that wouldn't open. In an attempt to fix the cracked gears, they mixed up an adhesive...or at least they tried to. It didn't exactly go according to plan, but they ended up managing to make their repairs and open the door. Inside they found a spider's lair, the remaining posessions of a few dead dudes, and the busted construct they were supposed to find. Needless to say, the spider was pissed and ambushed them as they were making their way back down the stairs. They won the fight, but Makai fell victim to the spider's venom and fell into a deep coma. Everyone decided to crash for the night at that point.

I have something oh so special planned for when the views hit a thousand...
