So there's the movies, in full blu ray awesomeness, prices are a tad expensive but not too bad...
would be really cool to have on the shelf.
And it would be cool if they did this for some of the series.
Anyone know anywhere you can import these to US/ Europe?

I'd love to own Saraba Final Count Down on blu ray, but again...there a tad expensive for movies that are only an hour long. plus no sub titles.

PS3 Games are region-free, Blu-Ray movies are not.

This opens up new possibilities for p2pers and fansubbers alike.

I wonder if anyone would buy a copy of those blu-ray movies, rip them, and distribute them to p2p so that fansubs could now have a true blu-ray rip release (1080p, multichannel, etc.)

PS3 Games are region-free, Blu-Ray movies are not.

There will likely be region-free-ifying equipment in the future/
both the US and Japan fall under region A for blu rays (but unfortunately Europe is region B )/ a lot of blu ray discs are actually region free, dunno about these/ collectable purposes :anime:
