Green Arrow TV Show (Not Spinoff)

I don't know what to make of this. It could be a great decision that works out or it could be a disastrous move that ruins the legacy of Green Arrow. I guess we got to wait and hear more info before judging it more. Also, I think fans will forever remember Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen because I know I do.
LOL legacy....

So, they want to make a Green Arrow TV show that doesn't base on the comics? Why not just make a brand new superhero instead of using GA then? At least Smallville used the mythology of Clark Kent that is somewhat directly from the comic books.

Wasn't Comics Green Arrow some sort of paranoid commie? That probably wouldn't be a good idea for a show's lead.

Sweet, Green Arrow TV series.

....wait... No Justin Hartley?

Ok, I take it back.

You suck, WB. Justin Hartley IS the true Green Arrow.

The only person I can accept as a suitable replacement for Justin Hartley would be the one and only

'Arrow' Casts Stephen Amell As Oliver Queen

Ladies and gentlemen, we present Oliver Queen… and no, it's not the dude from "Smallville."

The developing CW pilot "Arrow" has found its titular bow-wielding vigilante in the form of Stephen Amell. Deadline reports that Amell has nabbed the lead role of Oliver Queen in the developing pilot, which David Nutter is directing based on a script from Andrew Kreisberg, Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim.

Amell is already a fixture among the CW faithful, having appeared on both "The Vampire Diaries" and "90210" for two episodes each. He's also held roles on the recently canceled "Hung" and the ongoing medical drama "Private Practice."

I want a Wonder Woman and Raven show, not some guy in a green suit shooting arrows.

Especially how the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is like , they could play off of that in Raven's look and attitude. I want to see something that doesn't suck ass from another show and downright suck . If they want to make it the same TV universe, fine. But I believe they need to give the Smallville universe some rest for now until the film does good or not. This leads to a question I have. Why didn't they tie the film with Smallville?

I got tired of Smallville after while and it should have ended at the fifth season, period and went directly to another hero or Superman. As much as I loved the show, it expired and aged horribly.

Aquaman would do good , but what can he really do on the surface? Nothing. Unless they gave him Waterbending powers or some way to use his powers on the surface in some shape or form, I cannot see it being good. He's one of those one trick wonders that's use is debatable.

Unless they have him hunting criminals like deer , then I can't see excitement over this. The Ironman trope has been overplayed as it is.
