Yeah that's what I was thinking. They got one actor from the three series that preceded Gokaiger with only one series having two. I'm surprised that they didn't get any actor from Gekiranger to come back, cause both Gaoranger vs Super Sentai and Boukenger VS Super Sentai had a five member alumni team, while this one seems to only have four.

Kinda was hoping for one less Shinkenger, and two more actors from previous series. It doesn't even need to be a Showa sentai actor. It could be someone from the early 2000s. I'm chill with Chief, Saki, and Chiaki. But yeah, kinda hoped for a bit more.

It's alright though. This movie is still going to rock hard. Love seeing Chief back. Maybe there will be more surprises with the actors.

I'm addressing this issue one last time because I want to, and not to start arguments or flaming, but on the issue of other people not included in the movie:

To me, all these heroes were in their respective shows and helped out the respective teams in some way, so they deserve at least consideration.

I have to agree, since each Ranger has brought something to their respective teams. While the pick is random, I think that they're trying to be fair. So this way everyone wins. Even though some fans might think differently.

Genta, Chiaki, Akashi and Saki?! those are the most random 4 cameos. :laugh:

Works for me. Maybe one less Shinkenger and one more from another team, but I approve this team, if they do henshin and fight as a team. If they're just coming on for a little bit and not fight...only a little deal. Still be nice to see them again in a movie that, until now, promised only (awesomeness from :buttrock Gokaiger, Goseiger, and suit actors. This movie is getting better all the time.

I get the feeling that Gokaiger is mostly going to do cameos from newer shows (that are easier to recognize) through its first 16 episodes or so, then do more cameos from older shows in its middle and final arcs.

Sounds plausible. Go for the past fans who aren't that old, or maybe still watching Sentai, then go for the adults with 80s-90s series. Pretty cool :thumbs: and something to wait for.

The only reason I can see why the older Sentai are attacking the Goseigers is because they think that they turned traitor by siding with the Gokaigers, whom are pirates.

Either that, or it's mainly enemies disguising as the older sentai warriors. Remember the team up "Hurricanger Vs. Gaoranger" where the villains of Jakanja were disguising to be as Gaorangers & to use masking devices to make them look and sound exactly like the real Gaorangers in human form after they obtained the real Gaoranger's Gao Phones?

It could be the same way.

I don't think those are enemies in disguise. I bet Black Cross (or Burajira, Zangyack?) found a way to summon and control the original heroes through their keys, kinda like how Joe used those 5 Blues.

Those weren't really people...they were more like illusions made from the attack.

All very good theories. I think I'm going for Hidden Masta's theory, just cause it sounds the most plausible to me. It's anyone guess until Toei confirms it in a press release or the movie is released...and we still need a press release to confirm just when that is. (Not meant to rush Toei. Care for your families first, Toei. We'll still be here when the movie's ready. :thumbs: :buttrock

Don't let them hear you say that...they'll think that you're trying to control them & to make them your slaves...which they won't take lightly. :laugh:

I think there also will be one actor from Gekiranger. Ken or one of the Fukami brothers. Tetsu or Gou. More likely Tetsu.

I want Toei guys to include in movie so much past actors as they can, anyway.

I think its more of a convenience's sake since Genta and Chiaki are readily available from the filming of the team up movie, might as well include them in the movie ... which makes me wonder if they should have just included the whole Shinkenger team and called it "Gokaiger Goseiger Shinkenger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle" :laugh:
