Girlfriend advice.

My advice comes from the other end of the spectrum.

Don't look for a girlfriend. Girls suck, as in they suck away all your money. And then you won't have any left for your one TRUE love...TOKU!!

EXCUSE ME!?!?!

Oh...OH. You are SO lucky I love you :P

Stop watching Power Rangers.

I mean, honestly, though I don't care what type of guys I date... A guy that's like heavily into geeky fandoms is a turn off for me. Its probably because they're so open and excite about it that it would embaress me if I was like out in public with them.

Yeah, at cons and stuff is fine ... but if I'm going out to eat I wouldn't want to have my bf reciting lines from a Power Rangers/Toku show.

Not say you're like that, but a step forward would be to seperate the fandom from the social life.
I agree to an extent. People generally don't like getting embarrassed. However, don't just give up on certain fandoms to impress someone. Really, I've seen too many people try and change just to get a girl/guy... But I guess you have to ask yourself the question, "Is she really worth that?"

I've personally never met anyone too geeky for me. And fandom takes up many conversations in real life, so I wouldn't know about separating the two. But I guess I can get away with the geekiness since I'm a girl.

But yeah, probably don't act insanely nerdy (unless you are trying to impress a geek!chick) in social situations. Girls appreciate different things though... and wow, that's no help.

Finding a girlfriend was a quest that I decided to give up on ages ago. Why? Well life not be perfect without girlfriend, but it's not as bad as say.. living in jail. I still have all the other things I love such as Power Rangers, Tokusatsu, Anime, video games, Japanese, friends, family, my cats, etc.

Plus, I believe a long time ago, one member of Henshin Justice (dunno who, forgot his name) told me about a friend of his who had a Chinese girlfriend who wouldn't let him play video games.

So, for now I'll pass of girlfriend searching and just concentrate on living my life. Who knows, maybe sometime in the future I'll meet somebody nice and we'll make friends and depending on how we get along we might become lovers and maybe get married and live hapily ever after.

And stay away from online dating sites, they suck!!

EDIT:

Stop watching Power Rangers.

Well if I have to stop watching Power Rangers and Toku, then she'd better stop doing whatever it is she does. I dunno, watching soap operas, walking around Topman's shopping for designer label clothes..

this man knows what he's talking about.

I got out of a relationship a couple of months ago with a girl that (in the beginning) I really liked a lot, but over time I realized something.

Kamen Rider Black has never yelled at me for not having a driver's license.

GekiRed's never drank waaay too much in front of my friends and embarassed the hell out of me.

Justiriser Glenn's NEVER ONCE made me take him out to an expensive dinner.

None of these Henshin Heroes have ever given me sex either, but they have given me a lot more joy than misery, and the same can't always be said for the ladies.

I'm not saying give up on chicks, but don't worry about it so much, because at least YOU are running your life right now. There are worse things than being lonely, guy.

Ok take my senario these are my facts
1 I rarly ever mention my love for Toku around my friends
2 We were uniforms to school so its not the way I dress
3 Im always kind to girl and they usualy treat me bad

Now tell me truthfully is my situation hopeless?

Saddly being "nice" to girls is not always the way to get them to like you. It's been my observation that girls generally find the "nice guy" boring.

(Some) Girls are bitches. You can be nice, buy them something, and they'll tear you apart behind your back. I've heard some very not-nice conversations and they make me pretty sick. Which probably explains why I don't exactly hang out with girls, too much unnecessary drama.

Yes, it is true that some girls do not care for the "nice" guys. I remember talking to a friend who was getting annoyed with her boyfriend because he treated her too nicely, wouldn't do anything she didn't want... she said she wanted him to be more dangerous. Of course, I've also heard this other girl say she really regretted turning down "the nice guy" now, because the guy she picked treated her like ****.

Really though, if you are nice, stay that way. You'll find the right person someday (that's what I tell myself anyways :P ).

you know I never knew that faded.memories and rider faiz was dating until this thread

my advice would be, do you really want a girlfriend or do u want companionship?
