Gekiranger or Shinkenger

I have to go with Gekiranger, for me Shinkenger started really awesome, then fell waay off for a long time until about the last 5 episodes or so. Geki was good the whole way through, and had much much better mech fights I thought.

Cast is the deciding factor for me, too. I like pretty much everybody in Shinkenger and basically nobody in Gekiranger.

I gotta agree with that also, the Geki cast was lame and boring, and to me Geki was boring from the get-go. And If you don't give a good first impression, how is a person supposed to have good hopes for the rest of the season?

But later on they did have great plot twists.

Shinkenger had the best cast to me, because everyone played off each other well and had amazing chemistry. Also had a great start and finish.

Sooo, what do you guys think I'm choosing?

Uhm...Shinkenger is not a great sentai. It's average and I'm being nice.

Hmm...a series with awesome fighters that brought martial arts to another kick ass level or a bunch of teen-pretty-samurai's-with-God-who-only-knows-how-many-filler-eps they had series. No contest, Geki wins :coolshades:

I still hate Shinkenger, so I voted for Gekiranger :laugh: I like the Gekiranger cast too - character development may be severely lacking but the more background on the Shinkengers we got, the less likeable they became ...

I actually kinda enjoy Shinkenger, it's a decent show to say the least. But, if I had to choose which ones better; I'll say Gekiranger.

I liked them both. But Shinkenger had a huge hole in the middle of it's run. So I'm gonna have to deduct points for that. :sweat:

So Gekiranger wins easily for me.

Hard to choose because I enjoyed both very much. Each has something the other one doesn't and I can enjoy each for that.

Geki blew me away with how complex the story was though, and Shinkenger had a plot but it sort of dragged along towards the middle, but still I was enjoying the ride and most of the side stories. They were both fun and it's extremely hard for me to prefer one over the other.
