Oh yeah guess some people would like to know this, I have seen complete scans and it just seems to be a retelling of the Anime. The first chapter was basically the first epsiode, Domon fighting Michelo Chariot, just with some expanded and reworked scenes in a few places. It could grow into something else, a la Gundam Origin, but as of right nothing really new.

There's value in taking G's first episode and making it less ridiculous, though. G has a lot of problems, but I always felt one of its worst was getting off on the wrong foot so badly.

It still has a samurai robot that travels by giant robotic lotus fighting a helmeted Roman fighter robot that shoots rainbows from it's legs.
