Family Guy yes, American Dad no. I have this feeling AD is about to get it's **** together, as it's going to TBS next fall.
AD is, along with Futurama, and basically anything on Cartoon network between 6:30pm and 7:30pm on a Monday
Family Guy (like The Simpsons) has been basically hit or miss these days

I stopped watching AD a couple of years ago when Roger got really really creepy. The episode where him and Snot **** is where I drew the line. I gave the show a few episodes more (that season premier Halloween episode where everyone died by the killer hot tub) and decided that was the perfect time to leave the ship.

UH no. Simpsons is down right terrible, especially S24, but it was better than anything Family Guy did this year. In fact, Simpsons has and always will be superior to FG no matter how bad the episodes are.

I disagree. I love the early episodes of The Simpsons, easily some of the best television ever made. But it's astounding how quickly the show has declined in quality, they stopped trying to do emotional, character-driven stories and opt for quick cheap laughs, which fail 98% of the time
Family Guy is a very different show (in fact, it's silly to compare the two) it's rude humor and the show rarely tries to tell one specific story. But there have been some fantastic episodes, the one where Brian and Stewie are stuck inside the vault is more insightful, thoughtful, and well written than anything Simpsons has done in 10 years
It's apples and oranges. Both are great

These days, I think the only good episodes of FG are Brian/Stewie-focus ones and "Concept" episodes (i.e. Blue Harvest, Clue).

I'm sorry, but at what point, considering that we've had series such as Avatar The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, Attack on Titan, Tsuritama, Batman the Animated Series, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Teen Titans, Sym-Bionic Titan, MLP FiM (Not a Brony but the animation is undeniably amazing), FMA, FMA Brotherhood, Invader Zim, and countless others; was Family Guy ever in the running at all?

IMO all this "it should have ended so and so season" is just damn funny. Who cares if it keeps going? I have a lot of fun with Family Guy. I also still like some stuff from the simpsons. A tip I give people who are "That show sucks it should have ended years ago".. Here is the tip: Just don't watch it.:thumbs:
