For all practical purposes I should have flunked out of high school. I had some **** going on in my life around late sophomore year and I became a total rapscallion and started skipping class a lot, getting suspensions/detentions, causing trouble, and what have you. I ended up failing Algebra 1 twice, Biology twice, Geometry, etc., and just scraping by in most of my other classes, until I got a really helpful guidance counselor my senior year that calmed me and helped me buckle down. I actually ended up graduating on time, believe it or not. It helped that I was never really a bad kid at heart, and I had a lot of teachers that liked me and recognized that I was very intelligent and capable if I were to just apply myself. I'm not proud of my academic behavior in high school, but it's kind of funny to look back and laugh on since I've been all aces in college so far. I guess I'm one of those people that are smart, but just get bored or whatever with subjects and stop trying. I've never failed an English class, though. English has always been my forte, and I can't imagine anybody failing such an (all things considered) easy subject. No offense.
What I don't get, Kai, is that you say English is your worst subject, but your spelling, punctuation, and grammer all seem pretty good. What do you think your problem is?
