The raptors were small in the books? That sounds so weird to me since I've only seen the movies. Did they still open doors?

I don't remember exactly, but they were able to break into the Generator room, the Command Center & climb a tree onto the roof of a building, so all things considered...

[HIDE] the climax of the book involves Ellie, Hammond, Malcom, Dr. Wu & Muldoon hiding in the island's hotel while Mr. Arnold & the lawyer both go to switch on the generators, then the kids & Grant arrive, saving the lawyer and Grant distracts the Raptors while Tim turns the security systems back on to stop the raptors from biting through the electrified bars over a skylight above the room where the other characters are hiding. By the way, I think it was probably the reason why spielburg never got any good book to movie contracts again, he completely changed half the first one & most of the second one, only keeping the trailer scene, but rewriting it.:laugh: [/HIDE]
