How was 1.0 anyway?

1.0 was awight, Jusy the same 6 episodes crunched together with improved cgi and such, and with different details.
Im actualy looking more forward to the 4th movie since its gonna be new.
And Asuka's name change aint that bad. At least it's still Asuka. But hey, New Eva Pilots and like two new Eva's.

Two years is the standard amount of time for sequels. But hey its Gainax they're just a bunch of lazy, unoriginal nerds, I'm surprised it didn't take them 3 and a half years for Eva 2.0

No, really. I had the same reaction at first, but you've gotta see it. They really are doing something completely different this time.

It's kind of amazing to see how anime fans react to Eva.

You have the ones who love it (some for good reasons, some for incredibly disturbing ones)... and then you have the ones who act like Anno personally took a dump in their cornflakes and/or think they're too "cool" for it.

And we get to go through this cycle two more times after this!

No. I'm going to buy tons and tons of Evangelion stuff and the schadenfreude will only enhance my enjoyment.

Trying to complain at people until they stop enjoying something is completely futile. Human nature is contrary.

(Also, to add something to... uh, a year-old-post, the Evangelion movies run completely off the TV plot's rails in the second flick. So much so that I find it strange that the first movie follows the TV plot so much.)
