So, despite the fact they did that, Im having high hopes for this movie. PLus new female character and Kaworu! :dance:

It would have made sense to ditch Langley and replace it with a german name, but why did they change the japansese part?

It's not just a retelling, the first movie was pretty similar to the first episodes of the series, the second will differ more heavily from the series and when they reach the fourth, it should resemble the series only slightly. The end of the story is supposed to be completely new.

Kinda, Yea its a retelling, but they added some twists. And they 4th movie will have a completely new ending.

Poorly written series yet well directed with great looking imagery. And vastly overrated.

Sheesh......If I didn't think that they were gonna get to number 2, I would have just stuck with the tv storyline.
