Eddie Guzelian-Awesome or not?

After Bruce Kalish left I thought there would be no hope for Power Rangers to ever go back to being good again, I was hoping his replacement would be a good replacement. And I must say that Eddie Guzelian has been awesome so far. He's giving us coherent stories, Good character focus. Just overall a awesome series. I hope his last few episodes can continue to bring the goodness and that Judd Lynn can continue that goodness. So I ask the fandom this question. Has Eddie been a good Executive Producer so far? I know it's only been 8 episodes.

I like Eddie. I think he's a terrific writer and plotted an excellent setting for the series. Though Tellegen and Jackie have written episodes so far as well, you can definitely tell that Eddie's influence is all over the place.

I'm torn. I wish he wasnt fired but at the same time I'm glad it was Lynn to take his place.

I'm liking the new direction so far. He's impressed me.

I hope Judd sticks with his plans and finishes the series off with a bang.

For now I am going to say he is really awesome and he has been producing some of the best Power Rangers we have gotten in a long while.

But remember the praise and love the fandom had when Kalish first started.....

Eddie still has 10 episodes left so I will fully judge him after those 10 episodes air.

Some PR fans will always be sheep to the current fad mentality. When people stop ddoing what they want them to do, or when they start listening to a more educated "pack" who see through someone's fan-created "Superman" persona, that's when they turn on those they "idolise"

Eddie's reign is doing moderatly well, but there's been a few instances where you can cut the hypocrisy of Eddie-reign praise and Kalish-reign derision with a knife:

-John Tellegen wrote "Handshake", an ep that, if it had been under Bruce , would have been derided for some of it's more ludicrous ideas, indeed some DID criticise it when it aired regardless. I didn't usually mind these episodes, even when Bruce did them, but under him, they never got a big dose

-Aspects of "Ranger Yellow" are cheesy as all hell, very Ninja Storm-esque, and chances are if this had been made under Bruce, then it'd have been derided also. Not just by people who didnt like Kalish, but by people who didnt even like Ninja Storm

Perhaps, Eddie Guzelian can do the "Choseishin Series" or "Tomica Rescue" Series.

PS: Still surprised we got Mad Max and Terminator from Go-onger...then again...we got "Fish & The X Games from Ninjas" and "Dinosaurs and Ninjas from Kung Fu"

Maybe he'll do something else. Maybe he'll go back to animation because he was obviously in over his head as a live-action producer. Maybe he ought to stop being made to look like a Tokusatsu Jesus by a fickle fanbase.

I like Eddie, I like what he's done with PR, I like that he defied the Sentai source material and bucked the trend, he could even be ahead of his time with elements of what he's done, but he got too ahead of himself.
