You know, this thread was pretty much bound to open the doors, and give the "haters" their 15 minutes of intolerable glory.
Invalid catergorization, seeing as I'm NOT a "hater" (find the time to find out what that word even
means so you know when and where not to use it), I was being reallistic and respectful of people that were brought to the dance
alongside the guy and ppointing out Eddie wasnt perfect or ALONE in what he brought to the season. He fucked up and took those talents with them (it's also their fault they walked rather than be a united front for a television professional THEY left high and dry, making Tellegen look further like a class act), and there not getting the due they deserve in EQUAL measure to Eddie.
I don't have specific loyalties to anyone, they all did something that contributed to RPM's turmoil (not that we notice much), just as much as they all contributed to it's excellent quality.
I like Eddie. I greatly admire his accomplishments, what he brought to the table, and he'll definatly have a prosperous career in some form if he can get past the mark on his producer record (fired by micromanagement). However, I'll be darned if the same sicophancy is repeated
again without a full and thorough appreciation for his whole encircilment
And of course, there was that little matter of Eddie's mates slagging off Lynn just to rally fans to the cause...but when they found out Lynn was respected, guys like "Cameron" (the initial leak of RPM information that Funaro accused of actually BEING Eddie), dissapeared up his arse and never came back.
This thread is to bid a FAREWELL TO MR. GUZELIAN! What part of the title of this thread did anyone not understand?! Either you liked what he gave us...or you didn't. But please, for the sake of all of those who did APPRECIATE his work...don't post if you don't have anything positive to say about the guy.
Unless somebody makes a thread debating the pros and cons of Eddie's reign, you're going to get a dose of reality as well as a dose of cheerleading. Nothing wrong with either...unless the pack of wolves MAKE it a problem.
I was being reallistic and respectful of everyone AFFECTED by Eddie's behaviour, behaviour that cost HIM his job, and the usual cheerleaders jumped me for that.
I'd be happy if some could break the spell...but this is all just a little bit of history repeating...
dude it's just best to ignore him, skyknight, at times, makes really good and valid points and backs up his claims with evidence....problem is he also can't help insulting people while doing so

As for King...heh, he just makes me laugh. This isnt the first time he's
tried taking shots at me, despite his claims this latest snipe isnt a personal one, virtually every other confrontation with me HAS been personal, so it becomes easier to ignore (the only time I see his posts is through second-hand posting, he's on my ignore list). The man just doesnt "get" that I've got better things to do than put up with his geriatric whinjing.
Hand-in-Refrigerator isnt a trope thus far, but when syndication picks up, it'll be up there with the greats just for the accomplishment:thumbs:
