John Tellegen wrote Handshake... not Eddie...

Which just proves Skyknight's point, really.

The only tomfoolery was Ziggy trying to play 'whack a mole' with the hand and getting a wedgie by Tenaya... which really is in character for him.


The rest of the humor was good; Scott and Dillion trying to pimp off their rides in the opening scene, Dillon being an ass to K, Scott showing off to Dillon about downshifting, K's fridge gun blasting the hand and then Flynn crushing it, Ziggy fighting the grinders, their reaction to Dr K finally being revealed etc

Scott: I like to live dangerously..

Dillon: Explains your hair..

Believe me, the 'tomfoolery' in Ninja Storm and whatnot was leagues worse.


And Eddie was the EP, he had a strong influence on all of the episodes in the writing process.

The only fuckup episodes of Eddie IMO were the "Ranger Yellow" episodes.

There were some good parts in them but overall the story didn't really suit the Summer character.

The rich families thing during a time when the world is destroyed and there's one city left just seemed illogical and hamfisted.

Believe me, the 'tomfoolery' in Ninja Storm and whatnot was leagues worse.

Ninja Storm was a self aware, all out comedy season. RPM isn't. And the antics, while funny, many of them felt out of place.

And Eddie was the EP, he had a strong influence on all of the episodes in the writing process.

He... didn't write the episode.

He also wasnt the script editor. Tellegen was. Guess who stayed?

If anyone's responsible for Lynn's RPM more or less meshing and possibly (nay, likely), being no different, it'll be him that's holding the continuity straight and helping out Lynn with the original ideas for the final episodes. In fact, I heard from Funaro the finale is an IMPROVEMENT on the original finale.

I wonder if John Tellegen got a loyalty reward or something for staying when everyone else bailed.

Like a promotion to Co-Producer.

Umm yes they did. She was a spoiled brat at first, and she learned the hard way what life is like. It's a cliched story, but they told it well. There will always be people with money that think they are in control. I am not really sure why you are even bringing logic into a PR.

Eddie saved PR for me. I loved his run and I hope Lynn can keep it up.
