Ecogainder (Japan's Answer To Captain Planet)

[Toku Prime]

I just decided to watch the first couple of episodes of this, having heard that it was kind of a parody and therefore hoping it might be a series of funny shorts or something. What production company made this show? Because if it wasn't Toei, they were being a little cheeky using that elevator music ripoff of the Gavan theme in the last scene both times. :eyebrow:

Also, the voice actor for Ecogainder sounds familiar. Anyone know who it is? He really sounds like Urutaros to me.

[Mr G]

I'm not sure who the voice actor is. I'm not really sure who produced it either. I know that it aired on Kids TV but that's about it.

That being said I love me some damn Ecogainder. It has no action to speak of (at least not the first series) but I appreciate it for what it is - a semi-educational program used to teach kids about environmentalism. I really, really like it. It also has some good comedy bits, and Ecogainder's suit is pure awesomeness. And in my eyes, you can't go wrong by looking at Akimoto Sayaka for ten minutes or so! :anime: Besides all that, it has one of the single best OPs from ANY toku EVER.

Ecogainder OP

There was a second series I think with the same name and then another called Ecogainder 0X. However, I've not seen either. :disappoin
