^There actually gonna start re-airing Naruto without any filler similar to Kai.

Filler isn't just side stories. In an anime's case it is anything that was added in that wasn't in the original manga. DBZ was dragged out to **** because it was always so close to the current manga chapter's content. With Naruto, Bleach and One Piece, they have filler arcs, which you can pretty much always skip. DBZ is the one that suffered, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece are nothing compared to that.

I haven't notice anything that different in Kai from the original besides the missing filler episodes. Does it get worst after the Namek arc or does the anime just stretch out fights? In which case that's just more violence WHICH IS AWESOME!:anime:

64 episodes of Kai have covered 134 episodes of Z. That means they have cut 70 episodes worth of material so far. Of those 70 episodes only about 12-14 were completely filler episodes. The other 60 comes from cutting excessive staring and panning in fights, reusing the same animations over and over in a battle scene, cutting away from the action to show side characters doing nothing, ect.

You only don't notice it because it has probably been many years since you have last watched it while it air weekly, so you forgot how tedious it was and only remember the important parts of the story.

Wow I thought it was going fast but I just thought it was because they were airing a new episode like everyday.

I will miss the Great Sayianman arc though. T_T

I've heard the series is getting canceled due to poor merchandise sales.

I disagree. I especially liked the Kid Buu saga!
