Then why does KRDK have drama in the show? Drama is a dark part of a show if it has it. Plus like I said, most of the Riders are like anti-heroes, and anti-heroes in a show or a movie can be quite dark. And remember, KRDK is half inspired by the Heisei Riders.

RPM is just another PR series. They are doing nothing really different.

I still feel some of that Disney-ness in it.

Still rushed zord fights, horrible civilian fights, and accent slip ups. But other then that it's pretty impressive.

I have to agree with the both of you. RPM had one hell of a premiere and I thought this franchise was gonna change, but after that, it died out and decided to go for kiddy comic relief and cheap fighting scenes.

This isn't Japan and they air on two different networks.

That still doesn't mean they have to compete with each other when they don't even air at the same time.

In my mind you cant compare KRDK to RPM. There two awesome shows but there completely different. Its like saying which one is better Heroes or 24. Both night time shows but there not the similar. The only thing that is common between PR and KRDK in my mind is the fact that they both use a Japanese toku show and mix it with English actors.

Dont get me wrong there both kickass but I just cant choose! :castlerock:

Im not a 24 fan but Heroes has been really bad this season and last season. It never regained its awesome feeling it had in the first season.

I never bought the "apples and oranges" argument. They can be compared and I like oranges better.

And you CAN pic between KRDK and RPM.

What IS cool is that both PR and KR this year in America are at the top of their games... as well as the Japanese shows. It's a good year to be a Toku fan.
