Dr. Who - Talk Up!

"Father's Day" (airing right now on Sci-Fi for me) is officially the stupidest episode I've ever seen. In fact, I'm changing its name. Either to "Stupid Apes" or "DO NOT **** WITH TIME." Or maybe to, "Rose and her family FUBAR Time, and the rest of the world pays for it." What do you guys think?

I mean....honestly. How many rules about time do they have to break here? Watching Back to the Future could've told them not to do any of the **** we saw in this episode....

Rose is the customary "ape" who was supposed to do everything you just said despite The Doctor's advise to the contrary, that's the point of the episode, the real strength behind it is the emotional cost of sacrifice.

Are the Christmas Invasion and Children in Need Specials worth seeing or important to the episodes airing in the UK now? The Christmas Invasion is about a 1.5gb avi, how long is it? :sly:

There was no point to the episode. After all the numerous mistakes they made in regards to time-travelling, I just had no sympathy for her or her family.

I really liked the Christmas Special, but that is mostly because I hadn't watched any Doctor Who since it ended, and was /needing/ a fix. It was basically Rose handling the fact the Doctor had changed (and trying to save the earth). It has some mention of Torchwood, but nothing too important from what I remember. But I only watched once...

It's an hour long. I don't know if you want to grab a 1.5GB file, the one I have is 500MB.

As for the Children in Need special, I never watched it. Hmm.

All I know about the Children in Need special is it's the intro of the new Dr, err no idea his name since I haven't watched any of the 2006 episodes yet. :disappoin Yeah, 1.5gbs is pretty big, that was why I was wondering if it's worth checking out.

I had grabbed Rose last year when it popped up before the show aired and then got side tracked grabbing all the Pertwee episodes and a bunch of Hartnell and Troughton episodes and I kinda got burnt out, so I completely blew off the 2005 series until I caught Dalak on sci-fi a couple weeks ago. :redface2:
