It's more than what the Rider has, ya know. There's tons of reasons why Diend is hated. It's the character. He's a Sue who apparently knows everything more than the main characters. And all he does is steal and run. =/

I thought he was fairly popular while the show was airing - people seemed to like his snark and his fighting style, and he annoyed Tsukasa who was, let's face it, even more of a Stu :sweat:

I like Diend, he's a hilariously over-the-top dickweed. It's like he knows he's in a terrible show and uses it as an excuse to **** around.

(In all seriousness-- I think Diend may have been played by the best actual actor in the core Decade cast. The guy was insanely charismatic, he easily could've been a lead.)

Diend gets no love b/c he has no character development. Diend World from the series didn't develop jackshit about anything on Daiki Kaito, nor did any of the movies do anything for that guy's character development.

So Diend isn't underappreciated, he's getting what he deserved. Out of all the secondary Riders, Diend is the only secondary Rider that has the least amont of character development ever..............so it should be parallel to the amount of love/attention/props that he gets in any comparison amongst the rest of the Kamen Riders.

At least with Decade, you can make some character development argument that he was Dai-Shocker's original leader, Sayo's brother, and the Destroyer of All Worlds.
