Diend the most unloved rider?

He is the equivalent of Kivala, except it makes even less sense why he is going around traveling with the group. Haven't seen the last movie, but I doubt they will explain it.

Pretty much all attempts to develop him a personality and eventually put him on the side of heroes felt heavy handed. And really, he just had a lame design, so there is no reason for most to like him.

Hey why the snub on Hibiki? Hibiki is cool... he got the bike (like Kiva's), ultimate form and can beat a giant monster without hiring a robot...that's 3 out 4..despite the difference, Hibiki is a RIDER...hehe..

anyway about Diend...it seems Diend is there just to summon the other "small fish riders" as he said in All Riders...imagine DECADE series without Diend, it seems fine...hehe...

Asshole secondary Riders have become a dime a dozen in Heisei and Diend's worth slightly more than a nickel.

But then again Decade starts out like there might be a point and then just proceeds to use Rider lore as nothing more than a bag of action figures to wave at us, which can be entertaining but only to a point. Maybe it's fitting that its requisite asshole is a guy who just wants to steal everyones toys.

Oh well, at least he's not Kusaka.

I'd think the DiEnDriver counts as cool gear, and If the series was standard-length, he would've gotten more stuff. besides, Decade himself only gets a max of three pieces of gear himself. and I'm a major fan of DiEnd.

I thought he did get character development. he learnt a bit more about friendship and teamwork, plus trust and morals added in

I felt like we find out who he is, but not why he's that way, so to speak. I would say he has a lot of personality, but Diend really has absolutely no purpose in what passes for Decade's story. It is never clear at all why he follows Tsukasa around or why we should care.

ok..Ibuki then..hehe..Ibuki has the bike, nice weapons but no ultimate form..but he got some sort of a rider kick..he did it when his trumpet is not with him and waiting for Akira to deliver it to him..

That wasn't the only thing of his character development, the Hibiki and Black/RX episodes do something too.
