Den-O loosing Steam

Last year when Cho Den-O & Decade came out, it ranked out #4 in the first week. This might be a sign that Den-O's loosing interest for the Japanese fans.

Well it's not exactly surprising. For a company that wanted to milk a show for all it was worth, Toei didn't really put much effort into making the sequel movies. Final Countdown was the best of them but even that one was full of unanswered questions and hardly resolved anything. Climax Deka and Den-O/Decade were just pointless. "As long as the Imajins are on screen doing their hijinks, that was enough", was what Toei probably thought.

Well, it also depends on what was playing at that time? Was an anime movie there? Also, Block buster American movies bet subbed and/or dubber over there, so that could also effect it's ranking. Although, if it hasn't already, it's lost steam with the fans :P Cause that's what happened to me. The first 20 minutes were dreadful, the cameos from Decade and...some other show, brought me up by making me fangasm, then the rest was blah but was making me guess something, and then the end blew me away and made me go "YES! I WAS RIGHT! PLOT TWIST FTW". But the end was all that saved it really :/ It was JUST like the Den-O/Kiva crossover (a little TOO similar, atually). It was a Den-O movie, and Kiva just happened to appear. Also, the fact that A LOT of people weren't there, and that Kotarou had to be the main fighter, really hurt me somewhere :( Overall, 3/5 if I'm being generous. Hopefully they can get Takeru in for the next one. Or else it really would be worthless to continue.

the last one didn't really get to me. I liked the other ones, but there was nothing special about the last one if you ask me. Decade was in it for a small amount, should have been in it more. So its w.e.

Yeah, it really is pointless to call it a "Cross over" If the characters are gonna show up just for shits and giggles.

I really expected Decade to have a bigger role in the film.

I want other Heisei Riders to take the spotlight now. Decade and Double is pretty popular I think. Heck, I won't mind another Double movie.

Maybe a movie with Onodera Yuusuke as the main character and Kuuga as the focus of the film?
