The new Tendou Souji
I hadn't realised it was an Inoue show until now. That explains a lot about the show.
Yeah, he's the head writer (though, some other familiar faces wandered into the work as well).

Given the high level of fanservice in this show and Inoue's involvement, I'm quite surprised that the fountain in episode two was the only instance of Honey been dropped into water that I've seen so far :sweat:Yeah, he's the head writer (though, some other familiar faces wandered into the work as well).
I'm all for it. Still need to complete Sailormoon LA. But the fightscenes are kinda... Meh? I couldn't stick with it after two eps. Time to dust it off I guess.
I'm not a massive anime fan, but from what I've heard the magical girl genre hadn't really established itself when the original Cutie Honey anime came out, so she was considered more of a female henshin hero at the time. But nowadays it seems like she's more often considered one of the earliest examples of a magical girl.
As goofy as PGSM was...as in MMPR calibre goofy...they played with a lot of interesting concepts that I would like to see in the Sailor Moon 2013 remake.
Every time Magic Girl is brought up...I always hear Witch Sally and Cutey Honey as the forerunners.:sly:
Oh...that trippy Magic Girl that Dent talked about last podcast.
