Commercials that make no sense.

Mr. Underachiever

Is not impressed right now...
You ever see a commercial on TV that just leaves you scratching your head? It just leaves you thinking, what the hell is this supposed to be about? How is this supposed to make me want to buy this?

The skittles commercials are always confusing as hell, especially [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PB2IcAO25-0&feature=related"]this new one:[/ame]

So, what other commercials can you think of that make no sense?

The old School Quizno's commercials with those.... things.

There's is one comercial I can NEVER understand.

It's a Niisan comercial, basically a bunch of hippies are looking at pictures of...I'm guessing either rock stars, or of their younger lives. They go outside, and sees this mom and her kid drive by in a new van.

There's one commercial that didn't make sense to me.

It involve this one guy who's chewing his gum and suddenly he gets attacked by some goat, at least two times. Then, when he finally spits out his gum, a team from a van comes out and takes the gum. And I'm like WTF!?!?

It's part of a series of Strides gum commercials dealing with the fact that the new Strides gum last so long, no one will buy chew another piece besides the first one, leading to the factory closing down and losing money. That is why you see the head hunchoes tracking everyone down to get them to chew another piece.

Yeah, I know, I'm lame...

Well the commercials that didn't make any sense to me
are those cigarette ads. Why on the world are they promoting
health unfriendly products such as these?

It's because they are remembering their youth and now they see an upgraded model of the Volkswagen Van.

In reality, Stride gum dosen't last that long. It loses it's flavor after like, 10-12 minutes of chewing.

But in real life the company could get sued for that.

Not at all.

#1) You fell for their advertising. You're at fault. As long as a shitload of people buy the gum atleast once then the Stride company is rich.

#2) False promotion is all around us. Nobody is getting sued and anyone who tries is an idiot

#3) If ur in High School u should take Media Arts. Fucking awesome class.
